"We had pretty good experience here the first time we shopped around the holidays so we decided to come back. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience this time. We were ready to check out 10 minutes before closing. We were told someone would be with us shortly which we had no problem with. While we were waiting by the registers a lady came over and said “just so you know, we’re closed.” We explained that we were told to wait to check out and another lady says “that’s me, you check out with me” though she wasn’t at the registers where we normally check out and she hadn’t offered to help when she saw us standing around waiting. She then starts walking over and I see her rolling her eyes and shaking her head as if we’re bothering her. Another employee told us we needed bags on our plants because of the weather and husband declined, thinking it’s a short trip and they’d be fine. Then the other woman explained that we need to protect them because of the freezing temperature, even if it’s only on the way to the car, so I said okay, let’s do the bags. The same woman who was rolling her eyes kept repeating to the other employees trying to bag the plants, “they said no, they don’t want bags!” I heard her say this at least six times, like she wanted to make absolutely sure no one put bags on our plants. It may seem far fetched but it almost seemed like malicious compliance? Like she wanted us to see the consequences of not bagging them since we were annoying to her. In reality we just didn’t understand why they were important until it was explained further. I had to tell them three times that yes, we want the bags. She made a point to say loudly, “you said you didn’t want them!” I said “yes, we’d like them after all” and she said, “OH, so you changed your mind!” Honestly it was the most uncomfortable checkout ever and made me never want to go back. We did nothing wrong and were treated like we were the bane of her existence. It was 10 minutes to closing and we were told to wait. We did nothing wrong."

"Holy cows! I’ve been to a lot of garden centers in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio, and Petitti is one the biggest and best. They have such an incredible selection of plants that are reasonably priced and so healthy. They have a decent selection of houseplants, every outdoor plant you can think of, home decor, patio furniture, fountains, and all types of gardening products. I could have easily spent well over an hour browsing their phenomenal selection of plants. Petitti Garden Center is just one of those places that is an experience to visit and a pleasure to shop in. If you love plants and flowers, it’s definitely a must."
