"Helped me determine the correct part to purchase! The part had a great price."
"So glad I found this place! Now I have a place I can trust to help me save money by repairing my appliances. My dryer recently stopped heating, which meant wet clothes and a stressful situation with a wife and two kids needing clean clothes. I priced new appliances, but also searched the web to see what could be causing the issue. After looking at several websites it was sounding like it could be a number of things. I took the dryer apart to clean it out and look around. Some of the possible issues (thermostats, sensors etc.) were visible, but I wasn't sure how to know which one was the cause of the problem. This was a little overwhelming and I started to feel like I might not be able to figure it out. I also started to wonder if I could even find new parts if I did end up finding out what was causing the problem, so I searched for appliance parts stores near me. Cincinnati Appliance Parts came up and I remembered an appliance repair guy that fixed our oven (under warranty) told me that was the only place he went to for parts. I called them and asked if they had the few parts the websites mentioned could be causing my issue. She said they did and gave me the prices. I asked about one of the parts because it was considerably more expensive. I then ended up explaining my situation to her. She transferred me to the owner who listened to my situation, asked me a few specific questions, and quickly explained what the likely cause of my issue was and exactly how to narrow down the faulty part. Narrowing it down required a multimeter, which i didn't have. I told him I didn't have a multimeter and he offered to test them for me at the shop. Very helpful! I removed a few parts and headed there. He tested the parts, and the likely cause he mentioned ended up being correct (and it was a very cheap part). He also took the time to explain how to maintain the dryer, and how to change another couple parts that would extend the life of my dryer. I could not have dreamed of a better experience. Got the dryer up and running again for under $50 in parts.. Next time I have an appliance issue, I am saving myself the headache and calling Cincinnati Appliance Parts right away. Also, the owner runs an appliance repair service called All-Pro Appliance Repair. I haven't used them yet, but plan to use them for any future appliance repair that is too complicated to do on my own. I included a picture of the fridge magnets they gave me, which include the contact info. Thanks again for the help!"
"Fantasy service and familiarity with most if not all parts"
"Update: main office made this right & they will take back the part. Even waived restocking fee which wasn't necessary since I was willing to pay that. Was told that a washer part (starter actuator) had 20% restocking fee if it was not the problem (on the phone & in person). It wasn't the problem, but when returning item, they wouldn't take it back because it was an electrical item. The part was returned in perfect condition. That is just wrong. Talked to the manager also. Prior to buying the part from this place, I was going to buy it from Amazon, where it was slightly less & I would get 100% back, but this place said they could test my old one & I prefer to buy local. I thought that would be worth it so I drove to the store & had them test it. One pin failed a continuity check so they said it was bad, so I bought their part ..."
"Poor customer service. I have been a long time customer even prior to there change to cincinnati appliance. The prices are very expensive, even on everyday parts such as dryer vents or cords. Internet is the best place to shop, or i would just purchase new rather than deal with these people. I purchased a cheap dryer and paid just as much for some parts as i would for a brand new dryer. Rude is the perfect word for this place."
