Just Add Water II

"Scuba diving has been on my bucket list for awhile now, right below getting a pilots license. I can afford scuba diving, I think. Anyways, my buddy is turning 40 and we’re going to Belize so a few others in the group gave me the kick in the pants I needed to finally go through with it. I procrastinated until a few days before classes were scheduled to start and because I’m a moron I showed up at their Willoughby location when they were closed. I saw some people in the back though, so I knocked on the door. Brenda answered and immediately let me in, she lied to me and told me it was no big deal and I totally wasn’t inconveniencing her, but I knew better. She then spent the next hour patiently explaining to me what was needed and showed me a ton of options. These people are passionate about scuba diving and it shows. When you love something you want others to have the best possible experience in hopes that they will love it like you do, that’s Brenda, Joe, Jim and Magic Mike. Joe was an excellent classroom instructor, great demeanor as a teacher. He’s patient and he knows his stuff, I look forward to diving with him one day. Slim Jim and Magic Mike were our instructors in the pool. They worked well together and made what could be a scary proposition for many people seem very approachable and fun. Scuba diving requires a healthy respect for safety and procedure and that was all covered in great detail and heavily emphasized, which is good, I’m not trying to drown down there. I cannot wait to be fully certified in Belize and finally experience firsthand the final frontier of our precious planet. Thanks to Just Add Water for making it all possible!"

"My Fiancé and I absolutely love Just Add Water! We originally did the "Try Diving" class and our instructors Chris and Brenda were extremely helpful and made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the pool. We decided to take the Open Water certification class and Katie at Fairview park was amazing and guiding us through what pieces of equipment we needed and making sure everything fit correctly and comfortably. Today we finished our first weekend of our certification class and again I'm blown away by the team at JAW. Our instructors Chris, Joe, and Scott were absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and did everything they could to not only teach the material, but share their love and passion for SCUBA, and it shows. So excited for our next classes and can't reccomend this place enough!"

"I will start with the instructor for my open water course. Jim was a great teacher. He worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone learned in a comfortable and safe way. I had anxiety and Jim showed an amazing amount of patience with me. Unbelievably I received a card from after the class. This is the customer service and care that you rarely see any more. At the shop Brenda is incredible about making sure you have the right equipment and if it isn’t they will swap it out with no problems. After purchasing the equipment Chris took a lot of time to sit with me and explain everything. He even found a missing o’ring during testing which he took care of right there. I am really happy that I chose them to start my diving experience. I’m already signed up for further education and will be finishing my open water dives soon."
