"This is the worst branch. The tellers are rude and sloppy. I used to go in here all the time, but now that they have changed staff, I try my best to avoid this branch. The teller Aimee Sanchez is rude, loud, and condescending. She speaks Spanish and is very rude to the hispanic customers. She tried to speak to me in spanish and told me she knew what she was doing. I needed to listen, but little did she know I am bilingual as well. I responded back to her in English, and then she changed her whole attitude. I can only fathom how non-English speakers are spoken to by Aimee. My most recent interaction with Aimee was horrible. I came in to close my savings and checking. She said I couldn't do that in the branch and I could do that on the app. I told her I tried so I called customer service and they told me to come into a branch. Aimee then said out loud that if I close my checking and savings I am now limiting myself. This was so embarrassing because everyone in line could hear my business. Aimee is way older than me so she should know how to be kind and interact with customers better. Shame on her for treating hispanic customers so rudely. So, glad I no longer bank with 5/3, I walked out of that branch and went to the fairifled location. This location closed my checking and savings and set it up where my Capital One checking is linked to my credit card so I can make easy payments."
"Where else can I go to buy groceries, make deposits, and get profiled all in the same trip? Chefs kiss. I can provide corroborating documentation and access to all parties involved in the deposits that you have arbitrarily declined. I was once declined a deposit because of a mild misspelling of the account holders name on a money order and was told I'd have to get it corrected - this after making the same deposit for months. Given reason being that the deposit might get "lost in the system". I have some background in computer science. I'm no banking systems expert, but It is very unlikely that the deposit will be linked to the string value of a name. The deposit and its details will be linked to something that doesn't repeat in the system - the account number. I have also worked for years in property management and know what sticking points might apply to a check that won't necessarily apply to a money order. This is not the only time I have been given push-back for a routine deposit over "discretionary" calls. If you are a potential customer, I will not opine on the shape of this branches "discretion" with just my anecdotal experience. I will suggest that you only conduct your business here if you have every i dotted and every t crossed on your documentation. This game will always take the shape of policy inconsistently applied and never be exactly what it looks like if you ask the horse that's kicking you. To any staff that might happen to read this. I'm patient. Not stupid. Don't confuse silence for the latter."
"The absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced with a bank. My account has been open less than two weeks and I want to close it…. But I can’t because I have to wait for 10 days until my PAYROLL check clears. Even tho I was told when making my deposit that the funds would be available the next day. This bank hijacked my entire paycheck and is going to hold it until my next payday…. I should have stuck to CHIME, they don’t treat customers like scammers"
"I had to take my mom in today to make some changes to her accounts. We needed help from management. I have to say that Amy and Emily were absolutely wonderful to work with. My mom is dealing with some memory issues and they were both so patient, comforting and exceptionally nice. I really appreciate how this branch takes care of mom."
"I am an attorney in this area and do large weekly deposits. On a weekly basis I have issues with this location depositing checks into the wrong accounts because they cannot seem to simply read the Pay To line. I've even gone so far as to add post it notes stating "Read Pay To line before depositing!" to no avail. Besides this being a major mistake and violation of banking procedures, it's mind boggling to me that this occurs EVERY week even with my notes (which should not be necessary as the tellers should know to read a check before depositing). I was a teller for 3 years in college and cannot fathom making such a major mistake and doing so consistently. It is to the point that I am seriously considering switching all of my accounts to a new bank and making sure to warn others in my profession not to keep any business accounts with this bank. I would think twice before coming to this location."
