"Went today with intentions to spend $500 or so on gear. An employee rigged up a couple of clubs gave me a few range balls and sent me to the driving range. He never came back to see if I needed additional help or clubs, nothing. I wandered around after looking at various clubs and no one approached me, it’s like I was invisible. Needless to say I’ll never go back. This guy also lost the potential sale of clubs ( a full set ) that my wife is considering. Blows my mind."
"Great range and overall great golf shop. Was fitted for irons here and I have to admit I was skeptical about any fitting at all. But I am more than happy to say they know golf and golfers well. I’m a touch taller and have a natural fade, the gentleman fitting me (Mike) was able to wrangle that in with some customizing and even had different length shafts and adjusted lie heads to work with. Not just a general read of swing and in your way with something you may not be pleased with. He had me hitting about 6-7 different heads and actually found I hit a brand that I hadn’t even looked at much better than the ones I wanted. Will always go to The Grounds for any and all my golf needs. Thanks guys for all the help."
