"Brought in my grandfather's WW2 leather jacket to be oiled and have the zipper replaced. It looks fantastic. He was even able to keep the original zipper pull tab on the new zipper. So glad I took it there!"

"I would not recommend this shop, for these reasons, sloppy work habits that caused my boot to be permanently damaged, sub par repair quality, he did not honor our agreement, and lack of communication about delays. So I dropped off a boot to see about getting the Cuban heel cleared, it was damaged in shipment and the item was sold out so repair was my only option. I was very clear with him that I only wanted him to try and do the repair if he was going to be able to for sure do it right, that the quality of the repair was all I cared about and that if it wasn't going to look like it did from the factory not to attempt it. I also was very clear that I would happily pay for his time trying to figure it out even if he couldn't do the repair. Not only did he take longer than I was told, and was given no communication about it, he messed up my boot big time. The heel repair does not look good at all, and he did very sloppy work. I now have over spray on the two other sides of the Cuban heel where he neglected to cover them before spraying the back so they will always look slightly dirty. There is also a small amount of spray on the leather, luckily I had treated the leather with Super Invulner spray before dropping it off so the damage was minimal. The problem though is he messed up my brand new boots, I would absolutely recommend finding a different cobbler. He could have done nothing to them, and still been paid, instead he chose to perform sub par repairs and left me with damaged goods. "Awesome Time has kept me in the same (goodyear welted and blake rapid) shoes for probably 6+ years now. The owner always does a great job. Turnaround is typically a week. The prices are extremely fair. I'll be bringing my shoes here for as long as the store is open. Can't recommend it highly enough."

"Had a somewhat unique request to repair an Italian leather, motorcycle racing glove. The seam pulled apart on the right pinky and they did a fantastic job. This repair looks factory and I couldn’t be more pleased with the craftsmanship. Not having been into the store before, I was truly impressed by the amount of vintage clothing as well. This is the kind of local business that deserves patronage if you need or are looking for something special. SUPER friendly staff and great atmosphere inside. Very reasonable cost for the repair."
