Honey Hut Ice Cream

"Honey Hut is almost always busy and that's because their ice cream is the bomb. They have different flavors throughout the year so it's a good idea to check out website before going. Their banana split is better than Dairy Queen. My two favorite sundaes are Tin Roof and Almond Joy (coconut ice cream). On both they give you plenty of nuts. Worth the trip and multiple locations."

"Customer service for the Honey Hut on 4674 State Rd in Cleveland was horrendous! My grandmother, father, younger sister, and I stood in line for ice cream for around 2-3 waiting in silence while 5 workers passed back and forth several times without even a "We'll be right with you." Not even a glance our way. It was like they refused to look at us but they came right up to the glass where people tell their orders to scratch off what I presume to be finished ice cream orders. Mind you, we're a black family. I began to grow irritated with the lack of good customer service. Once we finally got our orders, we didn't even get what we asked for. We got 2 cups of ice cream instead of a milkshake and a cup. I observed how the rest of the customers, who were white, got their orders taken only seconds after they stepped up. I heavily feel this interaction was racially motivated. Just ridiculous."
