"Martin was a great tour guide. The Newport Gangster Tour is very engaging and interesting! History buffs, locals, visitors to the Greater Cincinnati area will love it."
"Kevin was an excellent tour guide. He brought the stories of the past to life. I was shocked to find out Newport had such a colorful history and connection to the gangster era."
"The tour was amazing. The tour guide was a little modern tone. I paid to go on a walk what the life was as a gangster in Newport, Kentucky. Not stand outside the buildings and listen to what it was supposed to be like. The only story I enjoyed the last story of the gentleman that use to drive his car down the road at the exact time the tour was about to end, but I would still give it 5 stars. Brad was a good tour guide."
"We took the tour April of 2019 and It was a great tour of the area. Everyone in our group enjoyed the tour and the workers. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had been giving the tour for over 10 years. The worst part of the tour was the fact that many of the buildings that were mentioned were no longer there, but the ones remaining were colorful and had great histories. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Definitely get the Groupon if available and show up a little early to grab a few drinks at the dueling piano bar where the tour starts. I think our tour lasted right at 2 hours including the 30 minutes slideshow at the beginning and then the walking portion. It would be great if the tour had an arrangement with a bar about halfway along the walking tour so everyone could hit the bathroom and get refills on our drinks. We ended up coming back to the see the dueling pianos later that night as well."
"My late father-in-law and I took the tour one time a few years before he passed. We both loved it. Growing up in the area and having some family that were involved in some of the stories, make it more engaging for me. They have a great and entertaining tour. Although they could expand it a little bit more, unless they are just wanting to leave some of the names out of those that could still retaliate. Some interesting details are left out, but still a very great tour. I highly recommend it to any tourist or even a local that just wants to know more about this area's shady history. I plan on taking my wife on the tour soon and when my son is old enough, I plan on taking him too!"
