"I've lived here over 10 years and the conditions have never been as bad as they are now that this new company has taken over. First off let me say that I live in the apartment right over the leasing office and I happened to hear somebody from their corporate office on the phone telling somebody else that nobody here has any money. Completely disrespectful and disgusting to view people that live here like that. It's clear that they have no intention or desire to take care of the tenants that live here or the desperate maintenance needs. This is an old building, it needs work that they are clearly not willing to do. They will not hire more maintenance staff to take care of everything that needs done and they deliberately do not pay invoices and bills of contractor services, for example the grass was not mowed ALL SUMMER LONG because they did not pay the landscaping company so the landscaping company rightfully did not feel like coming back out to mow the lawn FOR FREE ANYMORE. We have gone through two different property managers in the last few months because they try to stand up for us tenants but then either get fired or abused for doing so. Both Charles and Kyle were great property managers. Like I stated earlier I have lived here well over 10 years and I think it's finally time to move when my lease is up, believe me I will not be staying here any longer and I highly recommend no one else considers moving here as well."
"For 8yrs things were great. A new property management company has been hired and since, conditions have deteriorated. My dad has been trying to renew his lease for at least a month, but nobody is ever in the office and nobody returns calls. Hopefully someone will correct this situation."
"I'm sad to say I can no longer recommend living here. It truly was great at first but then communication died off entirely and they kept my security deposit without even a word. I'm fortunate my current landlord didn't require a deposit. I wonder if Cedar Ridge even knows I don't live there anymore. I am also sad to see current tenants struggling to contact the office, and that yard work isn't even being done anymore. I don't know what happened... I tried my best but sad to say all I can do is warn others to not move here. No contact with your tenants at all is not how to run a business. You won't even let people renew their leases with you because you ignore them according to another one of your customers."
"Today, Kevin came in and handled some maintenance requests. I felt firmly comfortable with him in my home. He is clearly a family man, who not only understands the task at hand, but completes it effeciently. On our communities behalf, he has my vote to remain a working part of our lives. I had a conversation with Emmie. It is disheartening that she will be moving on to another property, because she made me feel very safe. On our communities behalf, it is my recognition that Beztak properties has aces in places for the better good to come. Welcome home."
"We have lived here for 5, going on 6 years and I would not advise anyone live here anymore. When I first moved in, maintenance requests were done in a timely manner, the property manager was quick to respond to any concerns and it was generally a good place to live here. In the last 2 years, it's gone downhill quick. The old company sold the buildings to a new owner and maintenance requests stopped being fulfilled. There was no online portal to file a request in, and calling into the office rarely got things done. I submitted a list of almost 20 requests at the New Year, at the request of the property manager via email, that had built up over the previous year. They have 1/2 addressed ONE of the requests in the last 8, almost 9 months. We were hoping to get one more year out of living here before looking for houses to buy, and I'm not sure the building won't be condemned or worse in that time frame. No one has come to do yard work in weeks, and I have been unable to contact a person in the rental office in going on a month and a half, since ANOTHER new company took over. Just go look at any of the numerous other apartment complexs in town, this place can't even claim to be cheap anymore and for an extra hundred dollars or so can get you at least something with amenities."
