Brighton Chase

"I would never recommend someone to sign a lease at Brighton Chase. The building is poorly built. They have to turn off the water at least once every two weeks for multiple hours, if not the entire day. Not only is the building poorly built, the leasing agents have horrible communication and provide inaccurate information to the tenants. Again, I would not recommend signing a lease at Brighton Chase."

"I'd like to start off by saying that I enjoy this apartment complex and the general Brighton Chase community. There is a great mixture of young professionals, retirees, and families here; everyone is very nice and respectful. There are quite a few amenities (grills, pool, fitness facility, movie theater, enclosed parking, etc) and the staff here is excellent. Repairs are addressed quickly and it really feels like the office management team cares to make this a comfortable home. However... this building was very obviously built to minimize costs and maximize profits for the ownership group. You can see and feel where costs where cut all over. i.e. cheap appliances that break easily, cheap fixtures, cheap doors that allow lots of sound in, cheap door handles, thin walls, easily broken blinds, cheap washer and dryer, intense leaking from my hvac unit, etc. To be fair, these things are adequate for most normal use, but there is certainly a drop in quality compared to other places that I've lived. The worst issue is that 7 times in the past 7 months, all water to tenants has been shut off for 5, 6, 7, 8+ hours. Three of the times with no notice or communication until well into the shutoff period. This is unacceptable and most definitely stems from cost cutting measures taken during construction. This building is not even 10 years old and is having major issues with water and plumbing... Cutting costs and then dumping the inconvenience of "emergency" water outages on the tenants is not acceptable, and saying "sorry for the inconvenience" with no reparations is not ok. Having no access to bathrooms, showers, cooking, and cleaning makes these "premium" apartments unlivable. This community is nice and is located in a very safe neighborhood in close proximity to the highway and every food/supply store that you need. Just know that the building has issues and be prepared to have your unit become unlivable for periods of time, often without a heads up."

"Phenomenal apartment community in a great location. I have lived here for ~5 years but have to move out of town due to a job relocation. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in this wonderful community. The entire complex is maintained extraordinarily well. I can't say enough good things about Brighton Chase. The front office staff is incredibly helpful and attentive to the community's needs. The maintenance staff is awesome and will fix whatever it is you may need in an extremely quick manner. I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed my time at Brighton Chase and it is sad to move out. Anyone looking at apartments in the Cleveland area should take a look here, they will not be disappointed."

"I lived in this complex for a several years, last in 2019. I had an apartment facing the courtyard and really enjoyed my experience at this apartment. The courtyard was nice and quiet. Parking was easy and there are plenty of wonderful places for shopping/food in the area. It was easy to get on the highway to get to work. As is expected in any apartment, I could hear the person above me walking around at time from my 2nd floor unit. The noise was not excessive at all. The pool was perfect on hot days. Overall great experience."

"Finishing up my lease now, I lived here almost a year and I absolutely love it! The only reason I’m not resigning is because I’m moving out of state. Maintenance is INCREDIBLE! Any time I have called in a request, it was handled same day and the maintenance man is so kind. Paula and Savannah in the office are some of the kindest and most welcoming people! The amenities really live up to the expectations, the pool is busy during the summer and people filter in and out of the gym all day but it’s never been too crowded to cause an inconvenience. The hallways are well decorated and the apartments themselves are great. As for the people living here, it really seems to be a mixed bag but a majority of young professionals from what I can tell. There are some families and some older people too! The only issue I have had is that I agree with some of the other reviews that noise can OCCASIONALLY be an issue. I am on the third floor so I have someone above and below me and on both sides. I have never had to complain but you can hear through the walls and ceiling. The only time I ever really notice it is in the morning, some days I can hear my neighbor’s alarm going off so I’m assuming we share a bedroom wall. It’s really not that bad (I still gave BC 5 stars) and insignificant compared to all the other pros considered! Overall, I highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a nicer\newer apartment complex with great amenities."
