Sutton Place

"I just actually moved out this week and already miss it! I lived in a small loft condo there for 2 years and enjoyed my time there. Everyone was very friendly and staff did get back to me when I reached out in a timely manner. There was an issue with the garbage disposal that I still question. I was told by staff that issues with my surrounding neighbors looked to be coming from my sink and when I questioned this, there wasn’t any proof that I was the one causing the issue. My disposal was removed and I was charged at that time. I actually liked not having the disposal better after that but there were a few times after that my sink still stopped up. Other than that, I really would recommend Sutton Place to anyone looking."

"AVOID this place at all costs. Im a veteran on disability. Ive stayed at multiple aprtment communities and not had any issues on the level that i had here. Do not trust Brian, as soon as you sign the lease he will become impossible to get ahold of if you have any issues and man were there a lot. Bryan doesnt answer his phone and takes weeks to respond to emails, it became apparent that he did not care about issues I stayed here for about a little over a year and for at least 6 months of that i did not have a working oven. Also for almost the entirety of the lease, and throughout the winter months, there was no front door into the common area. Cold air and snow was dropping inide of the building. Any type of critters could get in and at one point a very large snake. Also, dont be surprised if you find a homeless person sleeping in the laundry room when you're leaving because that also did happen. These people are very greedy and will try to take any money they can from you. Even when you finally move out theyll charge you for cleaning fees that are unnecessary. Brian emailed me at 1 am on a friday to let me know of this money i apprently owed him after refusing to work with me about the concerns i just listed. Again ive lived at multiple other places which were much nicer and had no issues when i moved out. I had some things fall through and ended up having to pay month to month rent for a few months before i found a new place. This is $200 a month and they will not work with you at all on it even after paying your rent on time for an entire year lease. Unless you are really okay with living under a slumlord you should find somewhere else and not fall into this trap!"

"It has been two months since moving in, and I have been unable to use the balcony because it is completely made of rotting wood and bends when I step on it. You can see the ground through the holes. I am still paying full price for this apartment. It is unusable and a huge safety hazard; apparently it may be repaired in a month, but that will be over 3 months of not having a balcony. I've had several issues with maintenance doing nothing. They will come by and say there is no issue. They only do something when I call and email pictures and videos, and even then it takes several weeks. This happened with a broken AC unit, the balcony (still not fixed), a leaking faucet in the shower, and it is currently happening with the other AC unit and bees getting into the apartment. In the past two weeks, there have been 20 bees inside my apartment, but they told me that there is nothing they can do about it. They're not even going to try to seal the balcony or window"

"I lived at Sutton Place for 5 years before having to move for work. The apartment complex is quiet and clean, and the neighbors have always been incredibly friendly. Management is on top of things, often responding to any question or maintenance request within 24 hours. If you want a great place to live that's within walking distance to many businesses and less than a 20 minute drive to downtown, this is the place for you!"

"I’ve lived at Sutton Place for about 4 years and it has been a great place to call home. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions. Whenever there was a maintenance issue, Brian was always available and the maintenance team was efficient and good about keeping me updated. It’s a pretty safe neighborhood and a good location for the cost. It’s a short drive to pretty much any location in Cincinnati and really close to a post office, library, and grocery store. I highly recommend these apartments!"
