"Don’t live here. There are cockroaches and mice!! The landlord doesn’t help you with your maintenance issues and even blames you for your maintenance troubles. People are often living in dysfunctional apartments and the landlord as I said won’t fix the issue and often blames the tenet for the problems in the apartment. When I lived here my apartment flooded and he at first wouldn’t cover the extra on the water bill for that month. The flooding started late at night and no one would come out until the morning and the landlord didn’t even come out to see the damage. Do not live here."
"Numerous problems with our unit including bugs, leaking patio door, and more. Would not recommend living here."
"Bad maintenance, after six months of them not upholding lease & breaking contract I left. Not to mention bad insulation and excessive electric bills. Hallways and laundry / storage areas are nasty when I was there. The difference you pay for the electric to the offset of rent sucks. Stay away, The company was owned by the same as highland ridge. Highland ridge is ok but hidden valley aka campus view sucks."
"Don't move there. My Apartment is full of constant water leaks , causing mold everywhere. The toilets are always clogging and sewage seeps from under the walls and onto the carpets. And they won't do anything to fix the problems. Kim (the property manager) is a racist and discriminates against the disabled. This has been a nightmare experience for me and my room mate. Be warned! Find a nicer place even if you have to pay a little more, it would be worth it trust me"
"My living experience at Campus View was an absolute nightmare. Within the first 2 weeks of moving into my unit, there was a major drug bust in the building that was next to ours. We weren't allowed to enter our apartment building until they finished their job, which was approximately an hour later. What a fantastic welcoming gift to start off the new school year! The fun didn't stop there, though. After 2 months, I come home from class to find a note wedged in my door that states that everyone's water bill was being raised by $25 because " a lot of tenants are leaving faucets and showers on for extended periods of time and not letting the maintenance crew know when they have leaky toilets which has dramatically increased our water bill". We were also threatened by Kim (Campus View property manager) once more for the same issue later on through the year, but luckily nothing came of it. Now, let's move on to the actual living conditions. There was mold by the vent and the door. The carpet was old and nasty, the sliding doors that led to our patio were offset so badly that you could fit 19 sheets of paper ( this isn't hyperbole) through the gap between them. Now imagine trying to keep that place warm during the winter, or cool during the summer. Luckily, I had a crafty roommate that rigged up an apparatus that filled the gap quite well and kept us cozy with all of the bugs that infiltrated our living quarters through the numerous cracks in our walls. And now, sit back and enjoy the grand finale folks. After finishing up my academic year at NKU and moving my belongings out of the apartment we were hit with a $50 cleaning fee because.... they had to mop the kitchen floor. If you look at the floor plan you'll quickly realize that the kitchen is tiny and I'm confident in saying that they didn't spend $50 on cleaning equipment/labor. Simply put, Campus View's apartments are turds. I advise you to look elsewhere, even if you have to pay a bit more. I hope this review helps you make a decision!"
