Tubman Towers

Tubman Towers, located at 17 West Johnson Avenue in Springfield, Ohio, is a part of the LSS Affordable Housing network, offering reliable and affordable apartments to over 1,000 seniors in Ohio. As a part of the Lutheran Social Services’ Network of Hope, their mission is to serve those in need by providing housing options to seniors with limited resources, improving their overall well-being. The communities provide clean and safe independent living housing options in a caring environment based on income, age, and/or disability criteria.

One resident, Bea, found comfort and security at Tubman Towers after living in a challenging environment. Now, she enjoys the company of friends, participates in activities, and feels at home in a safe environment. The convenience and security of LSS Affordable Housing communities allow residents like Bea to maintain independence while receiving care in a supportive environment.

The institution also hosts fun holiday activities for residents and provides opportunities for social engagement, such as the Loving Hands group at Kensington Place that meets weekly to knit and crochet. LSS Affordable Housing is committed to providing equal housing opportunities for all residents.
