"I would love this place but we have had nothing but trouble. Wendi does nothing to help. I asked for the bush in front of my door to be trimmed in the summer. Waited till fall, no one ever trimmed it. I had to get my own tree trimmers and do it myself. We also live where there are steps, they have never been cleaned off or salted. Plus the stairs don't even have a railing. My grandmother which is 80 has fallen twice, also my mother has fallen on them 2-3 times also! I have also complained to Wendi and the corporate office about the guy a couple doors down having too many cars parked in the parking area. Nothing has been done with that. And in the middle of our lease they made us start paying utilities on top of the utilities we already were paying. Rent has gone up twice and we are only on our second lease here. And beware they require renters insurance but will also still charge you for it EVERY month even though we showed proof when we first moved in! So make sure you get your $15 back that has been charged EVERY month!"
"I lived at the hill apartments for two years. The pool was nice and it felt safe living there. I lived in a townhome which was taken care of and had everything I would need including a washer and dryer hookup. For my first ever place to live on my own I felt this apartment was great. The amount they raised the rent surprised me however, and during the middle of my lease they made us start paying utilities. I went from paying around $750 a month to close to $1000 a month. I did enjoy living here and did not run into many problems. The apartment never gave me any issues, the neighbors were nice, and the area was secluded. Just kind of pricey."
"We have been here for about four years now. At first the rent just went up $25 the first time we renewed and I think about the same the second time. When Wendy took over last year it raised $75 and then this year it raised almost $100 plus now we have to pay for utilities. So now a 2 bd apt cost close to $1000 a month. It was $650ish when we moved in. With that being said, I wouldn’t care to pay that if the apartment was better taken care of. Our carpet started separating on the thresholds to the point we have to have covers unless we want to get poked by carpet tacks. The stove needs replacing. We ended up having to fix the our tub leak and toilet leak because maintenance was incompetent. They worry about your smoke alarms and furnace filters but nothing else. We have raised issues with them and they come and put a band aid fix on it and then nothing else. They are working on the outside of the apartment especially around the office to make it look nice but nothing has been updated to the apartments or the outbuildings themselves. A lot of people are moving out around us due to the rent raising. It’s honestly sad because it’s a great location as far as convenience."
"The place is old and descendant it do need a lot of updates Inside the apartment or townhouse they're trying to fix the outside up to attract attention but the inside do need some work and it's not a low income apartment But the money they're asking for it is not worth it. If you could find you a house or newer apartment or townhouse I would do it. They raised the RENT up every year I have seen so many people come and go from here. With so many people coming and going You can only hope and pray that the person they put next door don't have bugs or other things if I had a great tenants I wouldn't keep raising the rent up Because you don't know who's moving in next door to you year after year. Don't let the outside Of the property fool you. Have a Bless Day. RN"
"When we first moved out here , things was crazy ! But now that we have new property managers and maintenance man things are a lot better. I had mold all throughout my apartment, soon as I let them know they came in and took care of it all , the maintenance guy well let me tell you he's a professional at what he does he did excellent on my paint job he's going to come back in 3 weeks and finish the rest of the apartment but the room that I'm in all the time got done excellent work. I see someone said something about the cockroaches well this is low income apartment projects what do you expect it's inevitable it's going to happen they're everywhere and everybody's apartment but they do come out and spray multiple times throughout the month they are trying to take care of the situation they are working on it to me that's all that matters and the management is great now"
