"Prepare to be micromanaged. I’m extremely fed up with receiving white envelopes in my door. They routinely go around and inspect window blinds for damage and will charge you if they are broken. Last month they updated their lease agreement and itemized the decorations you can have on your porch and in your flower beds. We received a letter stating that a decor item was not within their parameters and were threatened with eviction on the letter. Just be aware of this if you are moving here, they micromanage the property and other residents we have talked to share this opinion and are also fed up.. I can understand the managing to an extent but to threaten someone that you will make them leave their home over a piece of decor seems a little too much to me. People live here to be joyous and be in a place that they can call their own, why should we have to worry about something in our yard being a certain length or what certain lights we have."
"I lived at Spring Meadow for two years and enjoyed my time there. The area was safe and mostly quiet and the longtime residents either kept to themselves or were kind and outgoing. I say "mostly quiet" because a lot of delivery trucks, usually Amazon and UPS, drive through there on a daily basis and rattle when they hit the grates in the street. Speed bumps were installed near my residence and caused an increase in the noise, especially with those delivery trucks. The apartment was clean, attractive, and spacious. I never had issues with bugs or mold. I could often hear my neighbors through the walls, especially when their phone would ring. The appliances weren't the best, especially the washer. I suspect it had balance issues, though staff told me that the washer, dryer, and dishwasher were all "cheap" units. The maintenance man was kind, quick to respond, and did a good job. My only issue with maintenance was that there was some obvious bad wiring in the overhead light in the kitchen, but I was advised to hit the light on the side to make both light tubes work. Huh? The property manager is polite and professional and never caused an issue, and the grounds are maintained pretty well. Rent goes up every time it's time to renew your lease, but we lived there during the Biden years, so that's probably to be expected. Overall, I had a positive experience with Spring Meadow. If I worked closer, I'd seriously consider moving back, especially after my lease is up at my current, inferior apartment."
"Moving in and living there was not an issue. I enjoyed how quiet the community is, and the space I had for the price. It was inconvenient where the trash was but it worked. And the garages are nice. However, moving out became an inconvenience when their office could not figure out how to do simple math for what was owed when a lease needed to be broken and how much of the security deposit would be kept for fixing any "damages". Be sure to keep the ledger you receive from this place, and keep it for your records. Never know when you'll need to fight with a collections company over money they owe you nearly a year and a half after you have moved out."
"My mother lived at Spring Meadow for nearly 7 years. The apartments are wonderful, and the office staff goes above and beyond to help with any issues. I highly recommend anyone looking for an apartment in the Springfield area to visit Spring Meadow...you won't be disappointed."
"Pros: New apartments, quiet neighborhood, washer and dryer included, garage included, water & trash included, decent price, decent landscaping, nice pool, single story. Cons: Increasing price, small pets only, lack of parking, frequent change of management, no online payment, only one garbage disposal location. Recommendation: My apartment is great, rules are being enforced better, management is good, price is good. I would recommend this apartment complex to friends and family."
