"This place is absolutely awful. No one is ever in the office. Our ac is leaking so much that our carpet is soaked, there is roaches everywhere. We buy our own traps and everything because the apartment won’t do anything!!!! We pay 690$ for our rent and honestly it’s way to much for this!!. We shouldn’t have to deal with this. Mold, water leaking, ac only in the living room. The rest of the apartment is 90 plus degrees!!! Been through so many property managers we don’t even know who runs this place no more! So tired of it omg"
"Went here today after being homeless for a year and just got out of the hospital for lung cancer surgery. We asked all the questions about bed bugs and roaches and was told this apartment was cleaned and there were no problems and later that night we went to move in and low and behold there is a roach infested apartment and now we living in our car again and they still yet gave us our apartment or our deposit back. I just paid $900.00 yesterday and now we’re homeless again. I asked for corporate number and they refused to give it to us so now I’m calling the health department."
"0 stars would be more like it. What do you want in your apartment? Bedbugs, roaches, mice, fleas. Take your pick. Claypool has it all. Dope feins running in and out all night. Pressing your buzzer to let them in. Just had blood all over the outside of our building on the door that ISN'T secure. The dope feins keep breaking the door so it doesn't lock. There's people smoking dope in the parking lots thinking they are hiding but making it clearly visible. Heroin needles and caps and dope baggies all over the parking lot. Several overdoses. My neighbors have had tweakers walk up in their apartment claiming they though it was the exit. The landlord doesnt do anything about it. The drug dealer was busted and let right back in. All they want is your money and wont fix a thing. Maintenance lives here for free and gets paid to do nothing unless he feels like it. Upon moving in, you'll have to clean up after the last tenants and fix all the repairs yourself. You won't get reimbursed for anything. And the health department wont do a thing. My son has had cellulitis due to the nasty carpet that we had to clean ourselves. No new paint and get your own carpet cleaner. You wont get your furniture replaced when the bed bugs take over either...Fair warning. The worst place I've ever lived. Only thing stopping me from moving is the money to move."
"I would give zero stars if I could. My family of 4 moved in there October 28th of 2017 and quickly moved out at the end of January only 3 short months there when we discovered the start of bed bugs in our apartment. TRUST ME! Even this long later they have not changed. They moved someone in right after we left and did not warn them of bugs either. We never had bugs before! We had to leave damn near everything behind so we didn’t risk bringing them with us. We then discovered and sent photos to Melody of needles left used in the basement laundry room under the stairs which also led to the discovery of cockroaches in huge amounts crawling in and out of washer and dryers as well as under them. Our son began showing many health issues while living there. Melody admitted our neighbors had an infestation for a long time and even she has one in her apartment on the floor below us. She knew this before moving us and our kids in there! She stated that the landlords refuse to spray the whole place at once to rid the infestations and randomly select which rentals do get sprayed which is why the bugs run to another door... Once discovered we pushed until our lease was broken and we were not given any deposits or money back. Our bathtub was caked in paint and unusable for our two children without them standing in an inflatable baby tub. We had mold issues which they just painted over instead of cleaning first. Our front door was taped and the door handle had a hole in it from them having to break in after the previous tenants left. They never fixed a thing properly. Melody refused to give us the actual owners numbers too. When we moved they continued to use electric which was in our name and they knew it. Mistake on DP&L’s part for not canceling when I called. They knew and admitted they continued to use it in our name and now we owe a lot of money. Melody also still refuses to supply owners numbers for that too. There’s bug powder in the hall corners, excessive health code violations, downright run by slumlords. DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH AND SANITY please. There are other places out there. Our neighbors across the way said they had blood stains on their walls and mold everywhere very shortly after move in too, they were told it would be taken care of upon move in. Our whole floor talked for an hour about issues with their places and not one of us had a single good thing to say. Check the dumpsters, guarentee there’s furniture. BED BUGS! NOT WORTH IT."
"Horrible management, the parking lot is turning into gravel. The outlets and electrical are extremely outdated. The ceiling in the bathroom leaks water from the upstairs tenant and the landlord does nothing. The air conditioning units they provide for the apartment barely works and was disgusting, and leaking water into the apartment. The carpet in front of the air conditioner is constantly wet. The pipes under the kitchen sink leak and are currently being held together with plastic grocery bags. I think some people have bed bugs as some people have found a few in the halls"
