"I lived at Oliver from April 2022 to March 2023. Moving in was a breeze, easy to find, quick keys including mail key. No hassles with pets with needed papers. They asked for a notice if planning to not renew. I gave them proper notice and no issue! Living there I had neighbors who were quite noisy in volume. I lived with some other families in the building and all were great. The area was clean and normally plowed. The apartment itself looked modern, but the modern touches are low quality. Granite can chip, faucet hose comes undone, and laundry closet/pantry likes to go off track and detach. It can be difficult to share 2 washers with a whole building but my other neighbors were timely about loads. When I did move out and drop off my keys they did not tell me I owed. I expected my security deposit back to my knowledge. The bill of 250 was sent to collections for carpet damage with no warning past 30 days. I called to inquire about my deposit and found out. Calling MRD in lansing was able to take my payment before it was sent. Reading reviews this wasn’t the only time it has happened. Oliver was great for what I needed it for."

"June 2022-June 2023 Oliver apartments are worth every single penny, you cannot put a price on serenity! I’ve never lived in or experienced a better multi family dwelling, Extremely quiet neighborhood, I’ve rarely seen everyone who lives here. There’s been ZERO crime that I’m aware of. I would ABSOLUTELY COME BACK here if I ever need an apartment again! One thing would make this place perfect. A COMMUNITY POOL to bring your kids and meet your quiet, respectful neighbors. YOU PAY LITTLE HIGHER RATES TO KEEP THE TRASHY, TROUBLE MAKERS FROM LIVING HERE!!!!!!!"

"The apartments looks very nice, maintenance team is quick and excellent. The following are the reasons, I gave this apartment complex 3 out of 5. 1. Although the apartment looks nice, construction quality is poor; Most of the neighbors can hear each other as the walls are thin. If you have kids, make sure to get the first floor to avoid problems with neighbors. 2. They have security cameras still my car was broken into and things were stolen. The management did not bother to show the footage as they want police report for such things. The leasing office did not bother to inform other residents about vehicle break-in. 3. They do not have controlled access into the apartment buildings, i.e. no locks for the main entrance. If a thief can break into my vehicle, he/she can also break into the apartment too. 4. They allow more than 5 - 6 adults to live into 2 Bed-Room apartment. It certainly can not match the description of a luxury apartment."

"I would not recommend these apartments. I lived here for a year and a half and there were multiple break ins to residents cars and management did nothing nor did they care. When you practically pay a mortgage to live in an apartment, you would expect them to hire security at night or at least work with police to resolve the issue. My car was broken into 3 times in a year and a half. They allowed our neighbors to have multiple different residents coming and going (clearly some sort of guys here for work and every couple of months there would be about 6 new guys coming to stay). Brad (previous property manager) encouraged me to lease month to month when I began looking for a house and told me rent would only go up by about $10/month and never more than that. My rent went up $300/month. They tried getting me to pay $1400/month when I gave them proper notice to leave and was only staying for 15 days. Apartments were nice but definitely cheaply built. Overall, they do not care about their residents and are just out to make money. Overpriced. Poor management."
