"If you want to move into these apartments - good luck! I am not one to leave a negative review, however my mother has had the worst experience with this office. Not only do they not communicate, they messed up her paperwork for her move in THREE TIMES. Told her she’d get her keys multiple times and the day of getting them they’d say they’re still waiting on “compliance”. In the almost month process of trying to get a move in date, she was told that someone else is before her for a move in, and that they’d follow up no later than the next two business days. For once in this situation, they followed up within the time frame they told her they would - to only tell her that person was in-fact in front of her and now they do not have any idea of when she can move in. Even though, through this ENTIRE situation it was never mentioned that someone else was ahead of her until they had no other excuse to not move her in. When I tried calling to figure out what was going on with her paperwork and mistakes one of the workers was rude, when I explained that they were the ones that messed up and that I’m sure she would check in on the situation if it was her mother, she calmed down and agreed. She mentioned she was new and there were trainings which put this all behind schedule, I understand - it happens. But unfortunately the outcome of the whole situation, is not understandable nor acceptable. Do better."
"I have lived at Eastpointe for 9 years. I felt sad having to move into an apartment but, I will say, living here is actually quite peaceful. Majority of the neighbors are nice and welcoming, and there has been one person my children and I have grown to have a bond with. There are some things I wish would change, but honestly we all know it’s hard to find workers right now. In the past, maintenance has always been amazing, but I have found lately since covid that some things haven’t been perfect, but I’m not a nit picker. The birds can be overwhelming when there’s a lot of baby geese and the adult geese won’t let you out of your building, and I wish that’s something that could be controlled. I also enjoy that the community here makes me feel confident that my kids are safe here. I always recommend this complex to people I know who are looking for a place to live."
