Reviews of Alt Stone Bridge
"I lived in these apartments for a long time. It started out great and quickly went downhill in the last 4 years. There have been multiple managers. They cannot seem to keep one in the office for long. Getting maintenance in my apartment to fix or update anything was a joke. I had to basically harass the office to get them there after waiting at least a week before contacting them again about maintenance requests. And even then getting things fixed appropriately was hit or miss. I was there for 10 years without one single update to an already out of date apartment. Then when I moved out I was charged for furniture that was put in the dumpster that was not mine. I had to email and call to argue with the manager and her manager to get some the fees removed. These allegations were based on what a resident reported to them. Not anyone from the office itself. When I tried to express the issues I had before moving, they were quickly dismissed and they seemed to not care. So, here is a portion of them publicly since the manager didn't care to hear about them on the phone privately."
"Had an apartment tour just for me to get there on a Monday that was scheduled and her tell me she gave the apartment to someone already. She stated she’d call me in a week for another unit and never called me . My sister lived here and said they were racist but I didn’t want to believe that and still wanted to give them a chance. Don’t tell someone they can tour an apartment just to give it away the same day. A waste of time and gas ."
"Now that I finally have a working phone again, I'd like to give an honest review about my experience living here. I wish I had good words about this place, but I don't. When we moved in we gave Heather (who does not work there anymore) a very long list of stuff that was wrong. She proceeded to write down what she thought was worth being wrong and threw the rest of the list away in front of us. The place was FILTHY when we move in. The carpets were crusty, the vinyl floor was torn up, the oven/stove didn't work properly, the fridge was covered in black gunk, and many other things were filthy or broken when we moved in. When maintenance did come in, it was common for them to leave stuff broken that wasn't broken when they came in. When we tried to talk to Heather about it, she gaslit us. We had to contact the landlord multiple times just to get stuff done because Heather and maintenance would ignore us for weeks on end or they would lie to us constantly. After she was fired/quit, everything was fine, except for some bad neighbors that constantly threw food and garbage outside and caused us to have an ant infestation. One of the nasty neighbors was kicked out, but the other one would constantly throw pasta, sandwhiches, and a bunch of other garbage directly onto our patio. I took pictures of EVERYTHING before we moved in AND when we moved out. After we left, I personally deep cleaned the apartment and took photos inside and out of all the stuff that I cleaned. But when it came time to get the deposit back, we noticed that we were charged for maintenance deep cleaning the fridge and cleaning a few other things. We were charged for blinds that were broken when we moved in. Maintenance broke the blinds BEFORE we moved in and decided to staple pieces of it together to try to pass it as "fixed". They also charged us for items left behind and when we tried to call to ask about said items, the woman my husband talked to decide that she didn't want to tell us what was left behind and we were unable to get ahold of anybody after that."
"I lived here for almost 1.5 years and my experience was very positive. It is a quiet neighborhood and management maintains the property well. Maintenance is quick to respond, friendly, and for the most part able to fix any issue you may have. Many people have pets and there are sidewalks for you to safely walk your dog around the complex. A negative was trying to maintain a warm apartment during the winter. There was draft through my patio door and windows and the heat wasn't as great in my apartment. I spoke with management about it and they were very helpful and did as much as they could, but since it's an older building there's not too much anyone can do. Another negative was the limited parking. I purposely paid the extra $25/month for a spot in the parking garage because there were many times I'd come home and couldn't find a spot near my apartment to park. Lastly the washer/dryer are very small (at least in my apartment they were), so I had to do a couple of loads in 1 week. Overall, this place is a great place to live and I wouldn't let these few negative opinions deter you away from making this place your new home. Management is super friendly and takes an extra initiative to build a positive relationship with their tenants."
"Lived there for two years and it was the best apartment I've ever lived in. Cozy, quiet, great amenities, clean, maintained well, and affordable. There were rarely any maintenance issues and when they occurred, they were minor and dealt with quickly. They continue to upkeep the place in general such as redoing the parking lots, and they always communicated when those improvements would occur so as not to be disruptive. Maintenance and office staff were all friendly. Would have loved to continue living there, but left the city for work."
