Everything about dirty apartments and additional fees to wring you dry are 100% correct and hugely understated. 5 star reviews here have to be paid actors or those looking to do "good deeds" that only hurt those looking for reliable renting locations while in college. Partner and I knew we were not resigning our lease less than a month in. Wishing strength for anyone still under their thumb."

"Jamie at Mecca Management in Bowling Green is amazing! I was coordinating storage units for my inlaws and out of town family and she went above and beyond to help me secure units that were together and helped me iron out all the details. So pleased with my experience with Jamie and Mecca."

"I would never recommend renting from MECCA based on experience. The company does not deserve any stars. This company seems to be motivated by extreme greed. They will charge you for anything and everything even when it should be normal maintenance. Don't plan on getting any deposits back and if by a slim chance you do they won't be in a hurry to return it. You will have to stay on them for it. Rent will be consistently raised and not in small increments. The majority of staff is rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I was told by their own maintenance staff they will just put band aids on things. They expect their tenants to fund their business. Worst rental company in BG think twice before renting from them."

"I don't recommend renting from Mecca, if you are searching for a rental company keep looking. Moving into my apartment, the place was very poorly cleaned. Old food in between the stove and counters, and all up the side of the fridge. Behind the stove and fridge were gross. I walked into that place and had to throughly clean it myself. When my lease ended I left the place cleaner than when I moved in and they still charged me for cleaning…. so what is the cleaning fee for when i moved into a gross apartment in the first place. Shouldn’t the cleaning fee be used to CLEAN??? They also charged me a 300$ carpet replacement fee when there was nothing wrong with with the carpet and I had it professionally cleaned when i moved out. They also drive by your apartment when you’re close to move out and take pictures of the outside of your property and charge you for things before you’re even out of your lease. It’s just too bad when some people actually take care of their homes and are respectful of the people they rent from."

"I rented through mecca for 5 years. If you have anything go wrong in your apartment and call them they fix it in a timely manner. I only stopped renting from them because my husband and I got a house. If I were to rent again I would go straight back to Mecca management."
