"Everything is fine until it’s time for them to give your deposit back. Called various times over the month always getting told I would get a call back that I never received and then when I do get my deposit it wasn’t even half for a bunch things that weren’t dirty nor broken. So just don’t expect a deposit back when moving out basically."

"My experience with Hillsdale Management has been great. The leasing process was simple and quick. I was able to move in within two weeks of first contacting them about an apartment I liked. The day I moved in it was very clean. There were all new appliances in the kitchen, new carpet in both bedrooms and all walls had been freshly painted. Within three weeks of moving in I have had to reach out to them on three separate occasions. I have received quick responses and no delays every time. Initially, I asked about putting a cable line in one of the bedrooms and they were quick to respond with a yes. Next, my hot water was turning cold within 10 minutes so I thought it was just a setting that needed adjusted. They came within a couple days thinking they only needed to replace the elements, but as it turns out the hot water heater was filled with lime and caused one of the elements to burn out. Rather than make me wait, their plumber purchased a new hot water heater at Home Depot and had it installed within 90 minutes. Lastly, strong winds had blown my storm door and caused a lot of damage to the door frame. They came out within two days and repaired the door frame in addition to installing a new storm door. Every time they sent someone to my apartment to work on these items the men were all kind and professional. Not to mention they remained on task and completed the job in a timely manner. I have been impressed with this company and would recommend giving them a call if you are looking for a home. Mark and Miranda are wonderful people and they run a fantastic business."
"We moved in about three weeks ago, and the recycling company has been incredibly slow to deliver our recycling can. As such, we had a ton of cardboard boxes and recycling items with no where to go. A couple days ago, Mark was in the area and dropped by to check on the property. He noticed the recycling items, and offered to take it all off our hands. He came by on his own time, loaded the items into his truck, and even stayed and helped us unclog a shower drain when asked. Very kind and friendly. Thank you Mark!"
"We loved them at first....Mark spent a great deal of extra time with us on our first showing where we setup an appointment for one house, and got shown 5 or 6 others to make the most of our trip. Got along great and thought we had found a great team to help us find a place to rent, he seemed very eager to help us out. But since that showing, it went very downhill trying to get information and help. Some questions would just be ignored, or I'd have to contact again to try to get them...and my last email never even got a reply. I would think as a realtor they would be more willing to see what they can do to find us a place, but it just didn't seem like that at all. Not sure if we did something to offend or they didn't want to rent to us, or maybe it was because a week took place from our first showing to the next, but it definitely became a negative experience."
