"Dr. Hughes honestly saved my deteriorating quality of life and I’ll be forever grateful for him and the staff at Avon Dental Care. I’d been to multiple dentists in the years prior to going here, and my chronic jaw pain and TMJ were always minimized or ignored. Dr. Hughes is the first dentist who listened to me and since 2020 has helped manage my TMJ pain and recommended me for a consultation at The Piper Clinic in Florida believing I’d be a candidate for surgery. I initially put surgery off because of the cost, but even with my splint Dr. Hughes made me, my joints were still deteriorating. I finally followed his recommendation and had surgery in October 2023. My typical TMJ pain is gone (excluding the recovery pain) and my mental health has improved. I had no idea how much my jaw problems were affecting my overall health. I’m happier, feeling physically better, and thankful I got surgery. If it wasn’t for Dr. Hughes and his staff, I would likely still be getting bad advice and ineffective treatment from others. If you have issues with your jaw and need help, this is the place to go! 11/10"

"Avon Dental Care always gives me good care! Dr.Hughes is funny and personable and the hygienists are so friendly. Their discount program allows me to pay out of pocket at a reasonable price and I always get good cleanings and X-Ray’s. I’ve never needed serious dental work and I hope it stays that way but I know if I did the office would put me at ease as best they could."

"Literally the best dentist and hygienists in the whole entire world, no one else compares! I’ve been to a few other places over the years. Everyone is so beyond kind and accommodating here and no doctor or dentist or anyone has ever been so great with my kids! I couldn’t get my 4 year old son to go anywhere near the dentist until here and my husband and I go here and I will never go anywhere else. I’ve had a couple doctors here including the new one too and they’re all phenomenal, super good at their jobs! Love the laughs and fun we always have here, thank you avon dental care !! "What an efficient and friendly office! The doctors are down to earth and knowledgeable! All of the assistants provide great conversation and are thorough with what you can expect for your visit. The front desk personnel are kind and helpful, and make scheduling appointments a breeze. As far as billing goes, I've never had any issues. If you truly pay at the time of your visit, they have no reason to call you after hours. I DID (one time) forget to pay for a visit and was called by their billing employee. She was extremely friendly and explained my options. I've read recent reviews criticizing this woman (I think it's the same lady). I think people who try to dodge bills need to understand that the physicians and employees work off of those wages, and you wouldn't go to Target and buy a skillet and walk out promising to "catch them later" and pay at another date. Again, they only call if you don't pay your bill...makes sense for a business. I appreciate all they do and would recommend this office to my closest friends and family!"
