"I have been going to this Drive-In for years but last night was the first time I have ever walked in to the bathroom, thought to myself 'wow, this bathroom sure smells clean'.. and then realized that I had just been startled that a drive-in bathroom smelled clean... not chemically disinfected with odors masked.. but clean! Well done Parkside crew❤️"
"Love that they are fighting to keep this landmark theatre operating. Concessions are reasonably priced and the pizza is really good! My car has LED daytime running lights that I can't turn off, so I just bring camp chairs, a portable table, and battery powered FM radio. If you sit outside the car like me, don't forget the bug repellent!"
"They don’t enforce the size of your vehicle and parking in certain rows so those in 4 door sedans are blocked by SUV’s backed into spots with hatches up. The signal for the audio was static heavy about 70% of the time. I gave them two stars because the food is alright and inexpensive, otherwise would of given 1."
"We visited this drive-in once while it was still Sundance and again last night. The new owners have done a good job overall and we had a better experience last night. However, screen one was supposed to play the Flash at 9:30 and Transformers second. We didn’t plan on staying to watch Transformers as none of us were very interested and we knew staying that late would be tough with a kid in tow. 9:30 rolled around and Transformers started playing. We gave it a few minutes and realized it wasn’t just a preview so we got settled in to watch. It wasn’t a huge deal, just a bit of a bummer as that wasn’t the movie we thought we were seeing. Something to keep in mind is that this drive-in doesn’t have speakers throughout - our hometown drive-in does and we never had an issue there with sound. Both times we’ve been here, it’s been impossible to hear if you aren’t sitting in the front of your vehicle. Part of the appeal for the drive-in growing up was piling into the back of a truck with blankets and it’s just impossible to do that and hear. Not the owners’ fault, just something to know prior to visiting. The staff working concessions was very polite and efficient last night, so kudos to them on that (especially since it seemed like most were teenagers) They did a great job!"
"I’ve loved going to the drive in my whole life! Now that I have a 2 year old, it’s the only way I get to go to the movies now and Parkside is the best! Their food, staff and movie quality is top notch! I’d give more stars if I could!!!"
