Scrap It Up
About the Business
Scrap It Up is a non-profit creative reuse center located at 5935 Ridge Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our store offers a wide variety of art, craft, and upcycled materials for purchase at low prices. We are dedicated to promoting sustainability and creativity by diverting materials from the waste stream and making them available for use in creative projects. Our store hours for shopping are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with donation drop-off times available by appointment on Tuesday and Saturday. As an all volunteer nonprofit under the Kennedy Heights Arts Center, we rely on the support of our community to continue our mission of encouraging sustainable behavior and creativity. Come visit us and discover treasures like yarn, fabric, fine arts materials, office supplies, paper, frames, kids crafts, scrapbooking supplies, books, seasonal items, and much more. Everything in our store has been generously donated, so you never know what surprises you might find. And the best part is, everything is priced very reasonably, making it affordable for everyone. Your purchases help support our organization and fund arts-related and "green" initiatives in our local community. Stop by Scrap It Up today and see what creative possibilities await!

"This is a really organized little store for crafters, makers, teachers, etc. There's a lot to see here!"
"Scrap it Up is a nonprofit and a makers dream! The inventory is constantly changing depending on what has been donated. But the prices are affordable and it is an environmentally friendly way to replenish your stash -- or to clean out your stash."
"the best little used craft store you will ever go to. the staff are just so nice and welcoming, and are willing to work with you. my favourite part of coming here was their little homemade signage for all the different bins and sections of items, they are so thoughtful and i highly reccomend you check them out!"
"This is a gem of a find for art enthusiasts! I'm so grateful I heard about it from a friend. I'm also So very grateful for Ms. Bonnie, who was sweet, knowledgeable, and reminds me of one of the art therapist. The random odds and ends from wrapping paper to scrapbook materials, stencils to fabric, stained glass to leather dying ink, beads to patterns, as a fellow patron said, "Anything & everything, and the kitchen sink is around the corner!" Gently used and some new (from Swallens store days!) We even found a compass kit still in the original packaging for almost a tenth of the actual price! Fresh donations are received 1-3 Tuesdays and 9-11 Saturdays by appointment ONLY. My total came to $1.37 and I bought 6 items! This is my new hang out. The limited hours of operation only add to the excitement of the treasure hunt! Quaint and cozy, with parking available at the Pleasant Ridge community park or a few spots on the No Outlet cross street on either side of the store. I only gave less than perfect because of the difficulty for handicap accessibility as there are 2 steps up to the entrance and the 2 aisles are JUST big enough for a wheelchair. That being said, they Are navigable with assistance. Saving these treasures from the landfill, as Ms. Bonnie said, makes it worth the trip!"
"This little shop in Pleasant Ridge is a crafter's/teacher's/Sunday School teacher's/knitter's/scout leader's/sewing fan's dream. The store is filled with donations of all sorts of craft second-hand craft supplies at inexpensive prices waiting to find a second life in a new project. I never know what I will find when I visit, but I love the treasure hunt, and I always find something."
