"Mr. Jones was a great attorney for my family. He listened, was attentive, communicative, and personable. He turned a terrible situation into the best possible outcome. #NotGuilty"
"It is now coming up to two years facing this case. When I was locked up my girl had found Mr. Jones online. Since that day he has been very tough. By tough i mean he does not quit. He looks thoroughly on evidence and anything he might have missed. When he finds something, he makes sure he uses it immediately to help our case. He does not mess around when it comes to justice. Personally I believe he takes it very seriously and tries his best for the best outcome possible. I believe I have a great attourney and we are still in this fight."
"I can't recommend Jim enough as a lawyer. He's been working on my case for 2 years now. Not months, years. I had false charges filed against me from the state prosecutors office based on a false testimony. I've dealt with public defenders who want you to plea out so they can collect their money and move on, only talk to you right before a trial and have no idea what's going on with the case past what they hear in court. Mr. Jones is the farthest from that. During our first meeting, he laid out where they went wrong and what we could do to fight it and his price. I hired him immediately. He may not be free, but he's fair with his pricing. He's not going to gouge you for your freedom. I don't know how many times I've messaged or called him since this all started, hundreds of times, and no matter how small or insignificant I felt my questions or thoughts on something might be he never belittled me or made me feel like it wasn't worth talking to him about. Regardless of what I asked, he has been kind, professional, and understanding of what I'm going through, always willing to put my mind at ease and keep me informed on what he's doing so I know the steps he's taking to prove my innocence. Mr. Jones isn't your run of the mill lawyer who's going to B.S. you just to shut you up. If he doesn't know the answer to something, he'll tell you, then find out the answer for you. He's as genuine of a man that you can hope for with your defence and I'm thankful that I found him first. He's fought hard for my case and is still fighting with the same momentum as when we first met, he has reassured my family with what's been going on, and most importantly he's always been 100% honest with me in every aspect of the case. I could keep going, but in a nutshell? If you're in a legal bind, hire James Sidney Jones. He'll fight for your rights like he's fighting for his own."
"This lawyer is horrible he never answered. He never show up for court and all he demand his money. The most crazy unprofessional attorney I have ever meet He kept requesting money for me but wasn’t doing his due diligence and got mad because he Wanted $1000 before my court date actually two days before my court date and tell me if I didn’t give it to him, he was going to withdraw off my case Which he did that was the best thing he could’ve ever done. Don’t waste your money because he’s not fighting for you all about a buck not your freedom"
"DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON WITH YOUR LIFE AT ALL COSTS. About two and a half months ago, a case that he took on for me after our previous lawyer shafted us was resolved. Me and my family were assaulted by police in a hospital after they refused to acknowledge my mother's appeal. We thought he would be better because he immediately said multiple things he would do that our previous lawyer never even mentioned. He even said he would take on my mother's case against the police department for her. However, things started to unravel quickly. Just like our previous lawyer, he wouldn't respond to texts and calls, only met us in person twice(which nothing of substance came from as he eventually gave a lackluster "defense" using little to no information that we gave him, and I will mention more on that later on), and he then suddenly did a 180 and went from telling us he would definitely win me and my mother's cases to saying that he can't win and that I need to take a deal. When we asked him about the sudden change in tone and said we wanted to go to trial he immediately became confrontational and aggressive, saying that he was raising his costs. Weeks passed by as he did nothing but go on vacations, then he suddenly contacts us two days before the trial asking us for testimony and witnesses that we gave him multiple times before that. During the first day of the trial, he finally called his private investigator asking her to find one of the eyewitnesses we told him about and she was annoyed, saying to him, "Why did you wait so long?" and "You really dropped the ball on this one". She told us privately later that day that in all her years of working with attorneys that she had never seen one that was this terrible on a case. The second day of the trial, before going into the courtroom, he slapped my mother's hand and yelled at her when she tried to show him something about the case on her phone. He told my sister to go into the courtroom and take notes of everything which he knew would get her in trouble with the court, and then when the judge asked him if he told her to do that, he said he didn't know she was taking notes, and gave the judge and prosecutors cause to remove my sister from the courtroom. When the court took a break, he walked up to my sister and thanked her for not "calling him out". Also, as my family that were waiting in the lobby told me and once when I saw it myself, he went into the bathroom with several people on the prosecutors' side several times throughout the days that the trial took place. My father eventually went in and heard them talking and when they noticed him, they stopped speaking. When giving his defense, he(I believe intentionally) made mistakes that gave the judge and prosecutor cause to stop him from being able to use the prosecutors witnesses' testimonies against them and from being able to present evidence of his own to the jury, not to mention that he was still goading me into taking a plea deal every day, which I did after he failed to present evidence that would've proved my innocence. He immediately cut ties with our former agreements and contracts, including taking my mother's case against the police department, before leaving the court. I fully believe that he was working with the judge and prosecutors against me for his own gain, even bringing my family members into situations that they shouldn't have been involved in, just to prevent me from getting justice while he got away scot-free. He fully deserves to never be able to practice law again, playing with people's lives the way he did ours. EDIT: Notice the aggressive response he gave. "You went through 3 lawyers", he and the aforementioned lawyer are the only attorneys I had throughout the case, the court records show that. "I don't like you or your family either" I never mentioned like or dislike, I only stated facts and my final conclusion on this individual, and it seems I was not wrong, as he did not address any of the issues I mentioned throughout this review, and instead opted for confrontation."
