"I feel misrepresented by Attorney Jessica Compton, and this is why. I was upfront about the direction I wanted to pursue. I was led to believe this was attainable and agreed to representation. After several months of invoices, I was told by Jessica Compton that what I was going after was not something she could accomplish, and she thought she had mentioned that at our consultation. This was not true as I would not have agreed to representation as it did not fall in line with the direction I presented at consult or discovery I presented. The case was about the egregiousness of Fathers rights in Ohio and the damage that can be caused to a child by its structure. I did some research and found out this has been an issue for many years and with the empathetic empowering movements it's about time for this to balance out, don't you think? After I found out I should have had a reading of the GAL recommendation (I did not receive and could have changed the direction of the case and/or given me the best chance to make an informed decision), the changing of the document in court to benefit the other party that wasn't ran by me first and Jessica showing up late to the final hearing and embellishing the amount of money she knocked off on support payments I feel it's safe to say she is not ready for the big leagues. I would not recommend Jessica Compton as she has a lot to learn and at 200$ an hour paying for a learning curve is not my idea a good investment. If 0 were an option to post, I would have. Men if you have children or plan on having them get married to protect yourself. Ohio, if she does not agree to this request, it should be documented and treated the same as a prenuptial agreement as the Man tried to receive the benefits he is entitled to when he pays into the system by purchasing a license. Unfortunately, that is not profitable. Right? I was also dropped as a client with the case still pending because I refused to sign the paperwork and was vocal about my concerns. I forgot to mention my retainer was short 800$. Still waiting on that explanation after providing clear and concise documentation I was paid in full and all on time as were the parameters of receiving the retainer in full. I'm sure the firm has many capable attorneys and hoping this does not deter you from seeking help. I hope this helps someone in the future."
