"Bought a used truck with a lift and had two other shops look at it for a loud pop in the front end. The staff at State Street tire got me in right away and in a very short amount of time found the problem and fixed it. They let me know how everything else looked and future repairs that will be needed. Thank you to the staff at State street tire."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. I have filed the following complaint with the BBB and plan to pursue the issue in court. I would advise ANYONE thinking about having their car repaired at this shop to go somewhere else. These individuals DO NOT take accountability for their mistakes and have zero customer service skills. You have been warned. I can also guarantee that the owner of the shop will respond to my review and argue. Read below. On January 11th 2024, my son's Pontiac G6 broke down- it would not start. We had the car towed to State Street Tire that evening. On January 12th in the AM, I spoke with State Street Tire and let them know that the car was towed there and would not start. On January 13th, State Street Tire called me to tell me that the issue was the starter and it would need repaired. State Street Tire performed this repair on January 13th 2024. I paid for the part and labor in the amount of $447.97 and the car was picked up that same day. The following day January 14th, the car would not start again. On January 15th, I called State Street Tire and asked if they could tow the car back to their shop. I spoke with Justin and he informed me that they do not have towing service. He told me to try jumping the car first to see if the battery was dead. After I hung up with Justin, my son did attempt to jump the car as suggested by Justin, it started but then died shortly thereafter. We then had the car re-diagnosed at an alternate shop- Mike's Muffler in Barberton. Upon diagnosis, that shop identified that the reason the car would not stay running was due to the starter being improperly installed. The owner of that shop took photographs of the wrongly installed starter and told me that because the starter was incorrectly installed, that the wires had been damaged. We had to pay another $329 to have the damaged wires repaired. We proceeded to have the other shop perform the necessary repairs. On Feb 1st 2024, I presented the photos and write up from the other shop regarding the improper installation of the starter performed by Dom at State Street Tire to Justin. I was met with complete resistance from Justin as he refused to take any accountability for their tech's mistake. I even had the owner of the other shop on speaker phone, who talked with Justin about what needed repaired. State Street Tire refused to refund my money and refused to resolve the issue. All I am asking for is my money back for a service that was not done correctly and that resulted in me paying additional money to fix. UPDATE- As suspected, the owner OR Justin came here to argue rather than resolving the issue. That isn't indicative of good customer service. I didn't bring my car back to you because I wanted a second opinion and unbiased assessment. I'm glad I made that choice because knowing what I know now, I wouldn't allow your shop to touch my car with a ten foot pole. Funny part is, Justin didn't know anything about this type of car when asked about it yesterday! He has zero customer service skills, zero personality, and doesn't know as much about cars as he thinks. Mike from the other shop SCHOOLED him on the phone, leaving him speechless. It will all come out in court. Thank you!"

"Car problems are awful, but the manager had a great attitude and made lt such a great experience for me. I told them i work with my car snd i need it as soon as possible, they were busy but fortunately Jay understood the urgency and fixed my car in a timely manner"

"A busy place but Jay got me in right away! They try to accommodate you as soon as possible and you should have some patience when they do. They don't have the reputation they do for nothing. They get the job done and Jay is a pleasant upbeat kinda guy. Sorta like an air traffic controler. Glad they're around!"

"The staff at this shop are so amazing and friendly. As a woman in a tire shop you never know if someone would try to take advantage of that and push the most expensive service on you. But the moment I walked in Tony made sure to keep me in full communication with my car. He was answering calls and helping the costumers through their needs on a phone call. Also they FINANCE!! This is definitely the place to go."
