"I had an utterly disappointing experience at Home Depot recently, and I feel compelled to share my frustration with others. If I could, this review would have 0 stars. The quality of customer service at this store is abysmal, to say the least. My encounter with the employees left me feeling disrespected and utterly disregarded. Upon entering the store with the intention of purchasing paint for a project, I headed straight to the paint department. Unfortunately, there was no one behind the counter to assist me. After waiting patiently for a couple of minutes, I noticed an employee, Brystin, wearing an apron stained with paint. Despite making eye contact, he proceeded to pick up paint cans and walk away without acknowledging my presence or my need for assistance. Feeling hopeful that he might return to help me after finishing his task, I continued to wait. However, my hopes were immediately crushed when he came back and just walks past me, clearly not doing anything. I then walked over to customer service and told them I was still waiting to be helped. They made an announcement over the intercom and I continued to wait. Around 15 minutes passes by when I see Brystin organizing something. I was getting very frustrated until the assistant store manager passes by and asks me if I have been helped or not. I tell him I haven’t and he calls over Brystin. He walks up to the counter and rudely asks “What do you want?” I tell him that I have been waiting for over 20 minutes to be helped and that he clearly saw me and walked past without even asking what I needed. He scoffs and fixes his apron, telling me that it clearly says paint on his apron and he is obviously in that department. I rebutted that I don’t stare at every employees apron to see what department they are in and he just laughs at me arrogantly. Refusing to engage further with Brystin, I insisted on speaking with the manager, who promptly intervened and apologized for the appalling behavior exhibited by his employee. Despite the manager's intervention, Brystin failed to express any remorse for his actions or the inconvenience he caused me. Ultimately, I was very disappointed with the low level of customer service provided and the complete lack of respect for the customers. Brystin wasted my time and I was left in a sour mood. Home Depot has certainly lost my trust and I caution others to be wary of the deplorable level of service they may encounter."

"Their employees are incredibly friendly and willing to help, we have received a lot of professional assistance in store, In addition, on that day, my car had a little problem, and it was getting dark. My daughter and I were looking for someone to help, and a kind gentleman went out of his way to assist us in the parking lot, helping me to successfully start my car. My main point is that their employees are very kind and attentive to the needs of customers. It's a warm and reassuring place."
"Avoid this store at all cost, they need to change their name to Walmart, wait actually Walmart has better customer service than this store. Most employees are rude, lazy, incompetent, and will do nothing to help you. Today after 2 months of frustration with the blinds department of this store and not getting anywhere I walked to the customer service desk and asked the guy to call store manager, he asked why with attitude! Being visibly irritated I told him that I wanted to talk to the store manager regarding my issues I’ve been having with the blinds department. He called and asked for Jason to come to the desk. I waited 10 minutes and nobody showed up, in the meanwhile I was watching this guy going to the back of the store to blinds department, so I asked the other customer service person at the desk if she could call store manager again and the guy interrupted her stating “no we can’t” I said I have waited for 10 minutes and I have been more than patient with you guys, so you need to call him again, he refused stating “that’s not how we do things here, you have to wait” I asked what his name was, he turns his back and covers his name badge saying he won’t give me his name!!!! So, I took a picture of him and told him I will find out his name anyways. Later from blinds dept manager I found that his name is sydni or something like that and he had actually contacted the blinds department manager instead of the store manager which was not what I asked him as I already had issues with binds dept manager and staff. Now, back to my issue with blinds dept leading to the above. During labor day I came to the store and chose to order custom made Bali blinds from this store vs other competitors as they offered reasonable installation cost. During the visit I was told the start to finish process should take about a month and half, it was long but I agreed. Home Depot works with a third party installation company called CFI (certified flooring installation) which is an awful company. I was provided their number to schedule the measurement but had a hard time reaching them, was told that they were short staffed and running behind, my measurement was done 3 week after labor day; the guy measured windows on a Friday and said measurement is in and you can head to home depot to order blinds, I got there and no measurements were sent, a staff calls CFI and could not reach them and said most likely they will send results by Monday, I said please notify me when you have them in so I can place order, no one called, I stopped by the store on Monday and they had the measurements. I spent over an hour there as the 2 employees were incompetent and could not figure out how to place an order, when they finally did then they couldn’t print a receipt. I asked for blinds dept manager, Jason came over, another half an hour wasted and was able to eventually just print what I paid not what I purchased. Took two and half weeks for one order to arrive in 2 shipments. So, called blind dept to schedule me with CFI and they said it would be late November which is over a month from now. Basically from start to finish 3 months. Spoke to their useless employees and Jason who did nothing but to say CFI is running behind and there’s nothing they can do. After expressing my frustration Jason stated he will have another employee Joe contact CFI manager the next day and see if they can move the appointment up, waited today and no call once again, so showed up at store which later i was told they can’t reach the CFI manager!!! I said then why are you offering installation if you can’t fulfill your promises. I could’ve gone to Menards and got same blinds for cheaper and just hired a handyman and the job would’ve been done long time ago. They wasted my time, energy, gas and all I got was the $85 installation fee refunded at my request, that’s all! I will never step foot and will not spend another dollar in this store again. I will also pass on these words to all my new build neighbors to avoid home depot for their blind installations."
"Ordered new dishwasher with installation. "Installers" did not know how to install it. Left it in the middle of our kitchen. Next time send installers who know how to install. This is just a follow-up on July26, 2023 > called Best Buy, they came out to the house and said installation would be no problem, they did not know why it would, Hmm...interesting contrast Follow-up 8/2/2023 Finised product by Best Buy...beautiful! Comparing apples to apples, the winner is Best Buy!!"
