"Took my 2011 Chrysler 300 in for a CV axle and a wheel bearing. They told me it needed a new water pump but replacing the water pump is a lot so i asked how much and they told me it was $4200. I told them to leave it alone and they wrote up a estimate for a cv axle, wheel bearing, and a new inlet pipe for the water pump and it came out to $3200…took it to Akron Classic Auto and they are fixing the entire water pump and inlet along with a cv axle and a wheel bearing for $1600. They tried to charge me $4200 to fix the water pump alone at Valley City…Insane difference. I used to work at Fred Martins and i didn’t care for the way they treated people so i found a new job..this place is worse. They charged me for 2 inspections($302) related to the same issue and wouldn’t put that money towards the fix. You want to wax people for a living? Get a job here. The advisor and tech were very nice and respectful but i know they aren’t the ones seeing all that money. I couldn’t justify spending 3x as much just for it to go into a CEOs pocket. Find a smaller shop that treats their people right."

"As I sit here 2 weeks after having an appointment that I waited 3 weeks for, concerning 2 issues I am getting more and more enraged. This was the last service department in my area that hasn't pulled some outrageous nonsense on me. I love these cars but the service departments operate as though you are trying to pull one over on them when you ask for your warranty to be honored. I absolutely love these cars and I don't think I'd buy another one. I was getting ready to purchase a Wagoneer...but F that I'll get one out of warranty and used so I don't have to put up with the constant disappointment of a MOPAR warranty. It's unbelievable the things that have been done and said to me by the service departments by me. (This one has been good until this time...but unfortunately they are now all line the rest) I can't be the only idiot who can see a better way that isn't just a middle finger to the product and service I purchased and to my time and money. The 1st issue is semi-inconsistent and that day just happened to not be doing it... You are not allowed to stop by when it is acting up or show videos so I'm getting 13 mpg on the highway right now when I have to drive 250 miles a day and have no idea when I will get another free day to take the thing back. I really can't understand how a dealership does not have 5 minutes to look at the car for a second and see the issue and then make an appointment. Yeah sorry no the car should not be stuck in 5th gear at 75 mph with an 8 gear transmission and if a car is loosing 7 mpg from what it normally gets you should take a look at the car not just tell me to F off. The 2nd issue is in the front end on the passenger side. It is a very distinctive noise that is was told was the floor mats like in some kind of deaf, dumb and blind A hole. This is awesome because I now have brand new tires on the car, paid for an alignment and if this is what caused the noise previously, I will need to pay for another alignment. Again you should throw the car up on the rack and look at it. You changed my oil and rotated my tires and couldn't peak at the front end because you told me to F off by saying it was the floor mats. You know the thick plastic floor mats that dont move."
"My husband and I have been Klaben customers for over 20 years. We stopped at Valley Motor City to browse as our lease was coming up to expire and VMC is really close to our home. Gary Thonen was our salesman.We were kindly informed that Gary was new. It didn’t matter. He was so pleasant, and so helpful. He was honest about his experience with Dodge Ram trucks. But, he was finding the information to help us. He was upfront and honest. If he didn’t know the answer he didn’t pretend. He got the answer from his leadership. His peers helped him. They didn’t act like it wasn’t their deal so it wasn’t their problem. They were all so attentive and so wonderful with us. Seriously, Gary is an asset. Keep him! The manager Randy literally made the deal happen. He wanted our business and he worked with us. He 100% got us for our vehicle needs. Thank you VMC! You went above and beyond!"
