"If i could give zero stars for Allstate we would. Worst insurance co i have ever dealt with by a mile. We were with Erie for almost 20 years and never a single issue with them. Purchased a new house, had to switch. Storm blew off the roof and we are still fighting to get them to cover it. And on top of all that, they doubled our rates on the homeowner insurance. so much so that it hiked our mortgage payment 200.00 a month. Prior to that they hiked our car insurance as well. we have not purchased a car in three years, no tickets, no accidents in 20 years and yet the same vehicles that have depreciated over the last year, rates were raised. called the office about it, no response, could not get a hold of anyone. had to call a local office just to try to get some understanding as to what happened. We were basically told to live with it. as for this office in particular, good luck actually getting a hold of anyone over there."
