"The guy’s at custom trim were amazing!! Needed to get a remote start for a car we purchased that didn’t have one. They were polite, professional, friendly and helpful in explaining how it worked. They were also extremely fast in getting it done. Thanks Custom Trim!!"
"DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They are negligent. This business provided the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. I brought my truck in for a detail service, and left with cut marks in my paint down to the metal. The owner then proceeded to back out of the agreement he signed to cover repairs and rental while a legitimate establishment corrected their negligence, stiffing me with the rental car bill. The poor business and poor customer service starts from the owner and works it’s way throughout the rest of the company."
"I was scheduled the next day after calling to install remote start. I decided to wait. The waiting area, although not luxurious, is comfortable and they provided coffee. The installation of the remote start took less time than estimated and the operation of the remote was thoroughly explained. It is easy to use. The cost for this installation was less than I anticipated and the remote start works very well. I just have to remember to use it. I would highly recommend Custom Trim to anyone that needs this type of work done."
"Had remote start installed. Asked if they could install new seat cover while I was there. They did, and they did an outstanding job while I waited. Did both jobs in less time than I was quoted. Could not be happier with the jobs they did highly recommend!"
"Save your time and money for somewhere else. These guys are running a mickey mouse show. I had to take my truck back 5 or 6 other times after my initial drop off for the same issues. Where do I even begin. I had them do my audio, leather seats, truck bed liner, bull bar install, rust proofing to the underbody and rocker panels, back up cameras and changing the head unit display along with an amplifier. 1) The wiring for the head unit and back up camera had so much slack near the pedals and was such a sloppy job that it was eventually ripped off when I pressed down on the pedals after a few weeks. 2) The bull bar they installed was screwed on improperly to the frame of the car. Instead of being at a 90” angle, it was screwed on at 45’, angled inwards towards the grill. Not only did it look obviously wrong, it defeats the purpose of the bull bar when it’s basically touching the grill. Their salesman Mike, told me “there was no other way to install it”. I ended up having to redo their work myself on a weekend and installing it properly. They couldn’t figure out that the brackets were installed upside down.. 3) the “leather” seats they changed out in my truck were cracking and peeling within 6 months. When I asked Mike if these were actually leather or vinyl seats after they were installed, he ended up telling me that only the section you sit on is actually leather and everything else is vinyl (the sides and back). I was sold leather seats, but in reality only about half or less of the seats are actually leather. Mike said he would follow up with the manufacturer I but never heard back from him. I doubt he ever talked to the manufacturer. 4) The back up camera that I had them install was a front bumper camera and showed a reversed image instead of true back up. 5) The head unit made by Stinger was malfunctioning and continues to malfunction. 6) The amplifier that they “installed” made my volume worse and maximum decibels lower and now has a continuous humming noise as soon as you turn on the car. 7)They spayed my rocker panels and bumpers in rust proof coating. I went over what was supposed to be coated with both Mike and the painter. They ended up spraying 2 inches above the bottom of the panel, defeating the entire purpose the getting the panels coated to begin with. I was also told that the bumper would be taken off and sprayed on the undersides. They never even took the bumpers off nor did they spray the backside. The list goes on and on but all in all, dealing with this place took time out of my working days and countless hours of dealing with incompetent people. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for getting anything done to your cars unless you want more headaches than solutions."
