"Just ordered my first parts for my 07 A4 just a few weeks ago. Shipped and arrived timely. Even got a bonus extra o ring in the order. Customer service when done through the online chat is always very helpful and excellent in trying to answer the questions presented to them. Looking forward to more purchases from them. One bit that was trying to use a military discount. That you have to contact them directly and they have to take the payment over chat. Seems a few extra steps but I am grateful they do offer it."
"I ordered an accessory belt kit on Monday, 2/5 and paid $44 for 1 day shipping. I did place my order later in the day so wasn’t expecting it to ship until Tuesday, 2/6 and then be delivered on Wednesday, 2/7. The email confirmation also stated the expected ship date was Tuesday, 2/6. Wednesday morning rolls around and the order is still in review. So, I talked to customer service and they gave the run around about being short staffed and people out sick. Magically, after talking to customer service, the order moves to processing status and then is shipped that same day on Wednesday, 2/7. The order was delivered Thursday, 2/8. All said and done, this was 2 day shipping — not 1 day. I do wonder if my order would’ve even shipped on Wednesday had I not talked to customer service to question why the order was still in review. I would’ve left it at that but my fiancé realized Thursday night, while he was replacing everything, that they sent the wrong belt. Talk about a huge inconvenience! So, he reached out Friday morning and got some generic email about doing a return. We ended up going out to buy a new belt instead of waiting around for ECS to either refund us and/or send the correct one. I contacted customer service today and spoke to someone to try and rectify this situation. I asked for a refund on the belt since they sent the wrong one and we had to go buy the correct one, and I asked for a partial refund on the shipping. I wanted a partial refund on the shipping because if I wanted my order to arrive in 2 days then I would’ve paid for 2 day shipping ($27.99), not 1 day shipping ($43.99). All I wanted was to be refunded $16 for the difference between 1 day and 2 day shipping. $16! That’s it! I got the run around on shipping and they fought me on it. All said and done, they did not refund the shipping. They didn’t seem very apologetic either. Any other company would’ve apologized for the inconvenience and would’ve refunded the shipping, but not ECS! I’ve placed many orders through ECS over the years and shipping times were kind of always all over the place, but my orders were never urgent until this most recent order. When I pay $43.99 for 1 day shipping, I expect my order to ship and be delivered in 1 day. I also want my order to ship without me having to call and question why my order is still in review and hasn’t shipped. This one experience has left a very bad taste in mouth. So much so that I’ll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I ordered some other parts from another company this same week, didn’t pay any extra money for faster shipping, and it got here faster than the 1 day shipping I paid for through ECS. Do better ECS!"
"Generally great service and helpful staff. Arguably the best stocked site out there. My only complaint is the time it takes to get things shipped. I tried ordering a transmission service kit, and it was put on a 2 month hold because of an O-ring that wasn't in stock. I contacted ECS and informed them that the filter in the kit came with an O-Ring already, and they fixed the issue. So again, great service, they figured it out but had I not brought it up I would have had to wait 2+ months for an extra o-ring I didn't need instead of 7 days."
