"I was hit in the front right and they had my car and got it back to me pretty quick. But after receiving my car it had a broken piece of trim that they didn't disclose to me and i had to hunt for it myself. After getting it back I had a major steering issue. So i took it back and apparently the alignment shop never actually aligned it and they never checked it. They took it back again and had it aligned, when i got it back it still steered heavily to the right upon acceleration. They had me drive with the mechanic to show what i was talking about and we didnt even make it out of eyeshot of the building before the tech said turn around. So i left it with them agian, they called me back and i test drove it AGAIN. STILL HAD PULL TO THE RIGHT, they took it back and finally said that it was a bald tire i had. This impoved the steering but i still struggle to maintain control of the car and have to constantly correct the sterring on the highway, The last time i called them they stated that if i want to pursue this issue any further that they would have to send the car off to a Ford collision center and if they did not find anything I would be responsible for any fees! In addition the front bumper was not mounted properly and rubs against the fender which has already chipped off the paint. I recently went on a road trip with my friends which is the furthest ive driven my car since the accident and there were multiple times were i struggled to keep my car in the lane. At this point my car KBB's trade in for 3000$, the total repair costs were 6000$. The risk to send it to ford and for them to tell me its my problem just isnt worth it to me. Im selling it now and going to get something safe."

"In the past Schottmillers Autobody was the place I used, sent and family and friends. In the past 18 months I have had to make an appt for an estimate. Waiting 23 days to find out my truck was totaled. I had tried to contact either owner and manager. After leaving several messages not one was ever returned. I highly recommended them to a teacher of mine. They were rude to them and vowed never to return nor recommend them to anyone either. Years ago they were great. Now no one can even answer the phone. Very sad."

They’re friendly, professional, and happily provided updates on progress. The BEST part is you would never know my car ever had work done! "This review is based solely on Schottmiller's customer service and not their actual work. The quality of their work may be stellar but the communication is not. I stopped by on a Monday afternoon for a simple estimate on very minor cosmetic paint damage to my rear bumper. I was surprised that I couldn't get an estimate on the spot but was promised a written quote by the following morning. Tuesday came and went with no email or phone call. I followed up on Wednesday and was told they had problems with their database system and they lost all my contact info as a result. Fair enough. They apologized and promised me a quote right away. Now it's Thursday and I'm still waiting. I can't recommend this body shop if you're expecting any kind of reasonable response time. I was more than patient and understanding but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully you will have better luck than I did."
