"I went in the Advance Store on Woodman in need of a lift support for my boat. Now I have been going to this store for years and have always received great service up until about 5 years ago. I knew this lift support would have to be matched up by looking through the selection the store would have in stock but the associate Andy wouldn't even give me the time of day. All he wanted to do was look it up on the computer and let me know it would take time to order. He definitely didn't want to be bothered by actually doing his job and helping a customer out. This store has really taken a hit in the past 5-6 years in the customer service department. It is a good thing Auto Zone is right up the street, they gave me the time and helped me find the part I needed and when I crossed the part number with Advance's stock I saw they did in fact have what I needed. Had the store been busy I would have understood the hesitation to not go take a look, but there was only one other customer in the store at the time. I guess if I have to use this Advance again I will make sure Sam is there since he is the only one there that will actually take the time with a customer to ensure the experience shopping there is the best and that the customer actually walks out with the parts they need. Sam gets 5 stars every time I am in there, Andy however could care less about the customer and acts like he just wants you out of the way. It would be nice if they could hire some people who actually know what they are doing so Sam doesn't have to carry the load all the time."
