"VINTAGE COLLECTORS AVOID Last week I had brought in a wool coat from somewhere from the 50's or 60's. Being this old, the coat was dusty, and had MINOR damage. I stress that it had MINOR damage. I wanted to get this coat cleaned because I am a reseller and was going to post photos on my website. Given style, age, and condition, this was easily a $60-80 piece that would have sold very quickly. I had heard good things about Esteem Cleaners from friends and family. With their long history I made the assumption that they would be able to clean this coat in whatever way they believed would be best given its age. I was wrong. My coat came back with MAJOR damage. Massive holes and tears that can be seen in the images. As I was picking up my items, I overheard someone say, "well what are we going to do about it" and another woman said, "Were just going to bag it up." Clearly, they could tell that the coat was in shambles but decided to ignore it. When I asked about it, they told me that was how it came in. A blatant lie. As this directly affects my business, I am very upset. In addition to this coat, I also washed some suit jackets. One in particular was missing a wrist button that I had placed in the left check pocket for me sew on later. When returned, the button was gone as well at one more button on that sleeve, and two more on the other sleeve. My jacket is now missing four of eight buttons, in which they didn't even have the decency to return to me or acknowledge."

I brought my wedding dress in to be dry cleaned and they by far gave me the best deal around after I had gone into many other dry cleaners asking for pricing. The train of my dress had been muddy and grass stained for two months and they gave it back to me looking brand new! "I love this dry cleaner and how they have upgraded to texting when your order is ready. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years. I’m disappointed that’s it’s not 1 set price anymore though. I understand prices have gone up, but bummed that dresses are a difficult price than dresses and coats. It’s confusing and getting so costly. I do appreciate the coupons they text you though. I maybe only visit here once a months but $35 (pretax) for 6 garments (4 pants and 2 dresses) is a lot. I drive maybe 10 miles to this cleaner and I sometimes wonder if it would cost the same if I went somewhere more local. Employees are friendly though and service is speedy!"
