"Used to take all of my BMWs here. A few repairs were reasonable which almost makes me think it was a 10-20 minute fix. My one car eventually wouldn't go into gear after getting on it and had it towed there. Fixed right away and maybe a slipped bolt that wouldn't let any gears engage. Cool... $200. Then another E30 I had after driving and stopping at a gas station or attempting to start after sitting for a short period of time stopped starting and happening every couple days. He insisted it was the fuel pump and I said Im very sure it is NOT the fuel pump and never sputtered or acted strange while driving. (also a super easy fix I would have diagnosed myself first). I offered to leave it and drive it a couple of days. Got it done in 1-2 days and got an almost $400 bill (this was in fairness 20 years ago). Left BAS and went to gas station before my trip back to Michigan and sure enough... Didnt start. To say the least I was pissed enough to race back and speed back into the garage and park it and said its not a fuel pump. 5 minutes later a tech came back with a used fuse-relay and replaced it and never had the problem again. I wouldn't have even cared if it was $100 for 5 minutes of time... the fact and moral is it obviously wasnt diagnosed correctly and I got a new pump I didnt need. Wonder if my pump got used and sold in another car after realizing mine wasnt bad to begin with. Same as most say here... secretary was short and played dumb and Rick acted nonchalantly and didnt even stand to talk to me or even look at me. NEVER went back or gave a reference after that... and again that was almost 20 years ago. Thankfully ive had my luck between 6 BMWs and never had to hunt far for a repair done but I would dread a newer car getting serviced here. Not my first or 5th recommendation."

"Ordered a crankshaft front oil seal removal/installer tool. Packaging was awful. Screws were everywhere. Inserts for the screws to sit in the package aren’t even drilled out enough for them to fit in the box. It’s just messy in general. Maybe a little more thought in packaging for shipping purposes would be nice."

"While travelling from MA to WI for Christmas with family, my engine light came on, with a vague description that I checked for online and also with my own OBD tool during the night... the next morning I hoped one of the local auto places could take a look at it at least. Bavarian Autosport was all booked and busy, but knew I was travelling to see family and they had a technician come out to talk with me and see the code I pulled and how the car drove after the fault. The owner came in too, and said he could pull it in and check it out quickly. They checked the code and pulled a description that was very close to what I had and said it was affecting only the turbo, and should only affect the power but not leave me stranded. It was such a load off my mind, and I was able to continue to WI and spend time with my family. Now that I am back home, I wanted to leave a good review for this business being so nice to me when they did not have to be. From the nice lady behind the desk to the technicians and owner, I wanted to say a big Thank You for treating me so well!"

"Been using Bavarian Autosport for BMW repairs and service for over 5 years. Always fixed right the first time. They are true mechanics, not just parts replacers. I drive an hour, even for a standard oil change. No nonsense approach to auto repairs. Drop your car off with a list of issues, pick it up a week later. Avoid all the glitz and glam of an overpriced dealership; cus you're ultimately paying for that fancy lounge with free water and coffee. If you want a service manager that doesn't know which end of a screwdriver to use, go to the dealership.
