"I really would not suggest doing business with Mouch insurance. Granted, I had 15 years of no problems (never filed a claim or so much as needed to call them however), but my last experience is more than enough to sour my opinion of them. Long story short, I cancelled my auto insurance policy because I moved far away from Ohio. Fast forward a year and I get a letter from a collections agency. Apparently my policy was not cancelled and Mouch sent me to collections after auto-renewing my (supposedly) cancelled policy. No letter, no phone call, no email… nothing. Straight to collections, after only 2 months of me being “delinquent”. I’m attempting to work things out with Mouch, but I went ahead and paid the collection agency because I do not trust/have faith that we will reach a resolution, and I really don’t want to have a collections agency on my credit report. If you’re reading this and need any form of insurance, I would implore you to explore other options. You’ll probably be fine with them, but why take that risk when there are so many other options for such a basic service."
