"Drove 4.5 hrs this morning to arrive by 7 am. We were greeted by a gentleman named Jim who left the door open for us even though it was before opening time and instructed us to go around the back to the large garage doors. We had a generator from 1994 fail finally and we were in telephone contact with Jim, who walked us through the process so we knew what to expect. We were greeted by Paul, who took over with the replacement of the generator head and also did some maintenance and oil leak repairs. He explained everything that was involved and what modifications would be necessary to use the existing Diesel engine. Neat, clean, and when you see your unit in better condition than how you brought it in! Brian was introduced to us, and gave us a tour of the facility and welcomed us to see them in action. He also explained what the company does, answered any and all questions, and made sure that we were as comfortable as possible while we waited. Well, it turns out that Jim is Brian's dad and this is a FAMILY run business. This is something that is missing from todays commercial venues, and it was nice to have everyone be pleasant and inviting. "Utterly refreshing to see a company that is actually still more concerned with customer service than anything else. From the very first phone call with Jim I got a sense of family, extremely helpful over the phone, and before they even meet you, they go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed. I brought the RTR Motorsports transporter here to be outfitted with a new generator. I arrived on a Sunday and Jim went out of his way to come out and greet me at the shop so that I could get it parked and they could get going first thing Monday morning. I showed up Monday to meet Paul the technician assigned to working on our unit he was an extension of Jim in welcoming in answering any questions that I had with a smile on his face inviting me to feel welcome to watch the operation in action. During the day I got to speak with a good number of the employees and each and every one of them is an extension of the management in that they believe in customer service and mean it from their hearts. It was well worth the drive from Charlotte North Carolina to come to Defiance Ohio and meet these fine people. Everything Jim described to me that would be done in our first chat over the phone, was done with a smile on their face. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to come back here for more work but if this generator lasts like the first generator they put in this trailer in 1999 and had over 15,000 hours on it when it finally failed, then I probably won't be around for the day that it fails again. So what are you driving a race car transporter or a motor coach or anything else that needs electricity this is the place to come it's worth the trip. They have lived up to and far exceeded my expectations"
