"I started bringing my elderly mother here at the beginning of Covid because they were allowing the elderly to shop early. My mother loves this store and she takes a while to shop. The manager would allow me to use the restroom while I was here (because I'm a serious coffee drinker). You normally need a key but just about every time I am here, it's unlocked. So I got used to just going back and entering. Today, I did just that only to find an employee screaming at me. I apologized immediately of course. I don't understand why anyone would not lock the door. That's absurd in this world. I then just waited for her to come out and I apologized again. But she just locked the door and said in a angry voice, "We DON'T Have Public Restrooms!" I had to go and they refused to let me use it! Even the manager was angry at me! I can't believe how nasty they both got over an unintentionally mistake. Here's the worst part. I had to leave my elderly mother in the store by herself, while I went to McDonald's to use their restroom! We will not be shopping here again because of this. There are other Dollar General stores."
