Giant Eagle Supermarket

"This Giant Eagle is the absolute worst. The store is filthy and produce is literally rotting. Curbside pickup takes 15-30 minutes once you arrive. Today I went in just to get something from the deli. No worker to be found. I asked someone by the prepared food if they could assist. The employee rudely said the only deli worker was in a break. I tried to ask when someone would be back but was ignored and the employee walked away as I was talking. I went to the customer service desk and asked if someone could assist. I mentioned the person I spoke to in prepared food was rude. The person at the customer service desk said “yeah I’m not surprised.” Spend the extra money and go to Heinens where the employees go above to assist you, the food is fresh and the store is spotless."

"I experienced the worst curbside experience at the Legacy Village location in Ohio. I wanted to do a curbside order today. I put the order in last night expecting it to be fulfilled. My first red flag was my shopper never contacted me about my order. I got an automated message reminding me to pick up my order. However I never received any notifications that my order had been picked or was complete. When I arrived I was told my order was never picked. I asked to speak to someone to resolve this. She took my name and number but she never contacted me. If your customer chooses a service make sure they actually get what they requested. Some of us don't have to time to shop during the week"

"It's a good supermarket, great produce and good selection. Don't buy the dairy here. It usually expires many days before it's supposed to. Reason is most likely open coolers without any doors. I just threw out half a quart of half n half that should've lasted 6 weeks. CF burger products are particularly vulnerable."
