"Beatiful place for a nice hike or run! Easy trails and even paved around lake. We love bird watching and have seen all kinds of water fowl here!"
"Went for a walk with the family today, brought the doggo, enjoyed the new setup with the designated walking path they converted half the road into. I also noticed they've done a lot of work adding/improving trails with gravel, benches, bridges over creeks and restrooms near the parking areas. From the main entrance off of Medina Line Rd they made the road thru the park One way to allow for the other half of the road to be used as a walk/biking path. The kids thoroughly enjoyed this on their scooters!"
"Absolutely love this Metro Park! There’s also a playground here on the beach. Do note, if you haven’t been here in awhile, they have changed the flow of traffic. To get to the boating side of the lake you need to enter In from a different spot. They’ve been putting some money into the place though, making all sorts of improvements! Pro tip, if you’re a parent, or if you like frogs, go here in the spring and summer time, if you walk the short trail there’s a little pond you pass along the way, and it gets absolutely brimmingly full with frogs, quite a fun time with the kiddo!! I absolutely recommend going here. Also idk if they still do them but the guided night tours here were amazing."
"Great place to relax and get away from it all. Nice trails. Awesome kayak ramp so you don't even have to get your feet wet. Loved the wildlife and the fishing isn't too shabby either. Lots of moss in June/July."
