Firestone Park

"I stopped to go to an outdoor market. I did see families with their small children at the water sprinkler. There was also a colorful juggling gym for climbing facing a school. The park looked well kept. I felt safe. There is another side for bigger children. Plenty of parking"

"I know everyone has a lot of bad things to say about Akron FP whatever. However I’ve lived here all my life & of course problems will find you if you input yourself etc. I’m not saying bad things or accidents etc don’t happen however in my 31 years of living in this area I’ve never personally had problems. The splash park is beautiful & a great addition to the park itself along with the beautiful walking path. Always very quite & fun when we go, I recommend."

"The big open part of Firestone Park was beautiful as usual. The playground, however was not. The weeds were horrible There were kids there for her to play with and enough for them to do. Although, it started getting crowded as we were leaving. I mean, I just expected more considering the surrounding park and neighborhood. We stop in there a couple times a month while waiting on prescriptions at Walgreens."

"The Akron Symphony performed quite a selection of music for many to enjoy on a beautiful August evening! The locust also made some music of their own!"
