Hines Hill Park

"Quiet park, good to relax and take the kids."

"Now I want to first say that this is a nice little park. It has a small playground, a basketball court, and baseball fields. Along with a pavilion. They have recently added a bench swing, that is quite nice to relax on while the kids play and some new play equipment. That being said, when my niece and I arrived this evening the place looked anything but nice. Everywhere you looked there was trash. Liquor bottles, broken glass, water bottles, candy wrappers galore. I just couldn't sit there and watch her play and look at all that litter. Thankfully I had a pair of gloves and a broom in our van. Some litter bug left a reusable bag laying in the mulch that we had no problem using. We ended up filling it four times. I want to point out that there are Seven trash cans in this area and not a one of them was full. It is sad that people come and enjoy this park but can not clean up after themselves. I want to say Thank You Very Much to my niece, Rosie, for sticking with me through it all."
