Edgewater Beach

"An impromptu drive lead to me discovering Edgewater Beach Park in the Cleveland area, just an one hour and roughly 40 minutes from Dublin/Columbus! My day was more than what I bargain for! Finding a place that i could get work done, recharge, renew and reflect without being deprive of the Gorgeous weather outside. For me the weather was a bit cold for swimming but many people were enjoying the water! I made my way to the rocks to the right of lake where I place my towel to comfortably enjoyed the sun, feel the cool mist of the waves splashing against the rocks! I needed a bite to eat so went to the convenient store that offers a boardwalk like menu with snacks, Ice cream,hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries and more! I saw a sign advertising alcoholic beverages but quickly learned it was only available at the bar located on the second floor. The bar is easy accessible by stairs located to the left of the conviene store! I am not sure if they have an elevator! The bar features an open bar concept that allows you to truly enjoy the outdoors! During the hot season it might be way to hot to sit and do work. Since it was early afternoon not crowed making it a breeze to secure a table facing the views of Lake Erie. Nothing like indulging the beautiful weather savoring couple of cold beers yet accomplishing plenty of work. Edgewater Beach Park is easy accessible and plenty of parking for free! This place truly rewarded me with the tranquility and serenity I was looking for in nature. It’s not the beach but it comes close to it. The sand is clean and the facilities, restrooms and the establishment are fairly clean. It’s the beginning of the season and i arrived pretty early so I found the zen i was looking for. It’s a guarantee that this place gets busier once the weather gets hotter. The season has just begun and at 5 pm people began arriving for drinks, it’s a great spot for drinks after work! My overall experience at Edgewater Beach, Lake Erie was phenomenal making it a must visit if you are in the Cleveland area!"

"A beautiful beach with clean sand and truly wonderful surroundings. A perfect place to just stretch out and lie in the sun or bring a family and make Sam castles or wade in the water is it laps around your ankles or simply walk out into it for a nice swim. It's a large and a welcoming and beautiful piece of land to just enjoy but the day has to bring."

"Large, well, manicured beach makes you feel like you're at the ocean. Beach house is brand new and has many amenities. On top of the hill. There's a beautiful new expansive children's playground. Gorgeous views of the city escape from the western hillside. Of course you have to get your picture taken with the iconic Cleveland sign."
