Bonnie Park Picnic Area

"Nice place for a picnic, with a paved all purpose biking/hiking/walking trail."

"Thus area use to be very nice with the river running free, and nice water falls too. We use to come here all the times. Now??? We are not sure. They put railing by the river but so far from the water that you can't even see the river. The benches are also designed without thinking. The benches are too far from the fence the you look over nothing but weeds. What they created with our money here is just a weed area. Nobody what to overlook weeds. The patio they put in ehere use to be the falls is also made without thinking. There are no benches on yhe patio to sit on and the steps has no railings making it very hard ( almost imposible) for old people to walk especially with the handicap walker. They really redesigned something what nature designed for us. And one more thing. The benches are facing away from the river blocking us to view the water what we are really wanted to see. That's why we only giving it 2 stars. Bret and Donna."

"Bonnie Park is a nice smaller park which has restrooms, plenty of picnic tables and grills. Currently the park is undergoing an ecological restoration and site improvement project. If you like hiking off path, just a little walk from the park you can pick up one of many bridal trails in the area. 6/12/22 construction is complete"
