Reviews of Mudsock Trail
"Good"
"Great trail overall for walking, running, or biking. I usually run on the trail, though, it can get a bit wet at a few spots after it rains. A nice mix of convenience but also scenic and quiet. Goes from Spindler Park, up to Franks Park, and from there can connect to Hilliard to the north via sidewalks."
"Perfect trail for getting in a few miles of walking, running or biking. Good parking, well graded trail, convenient for travelers staying at the many nearby hotels."
"Nice dog friendly walking trail (biking too). The mudsock trail itself is pretty short, but hooks up with Spindler Park, Frank's Park & some longer trails through Hilliard. It is NOT paved and is mostly dirt/gravel, so it can get pretty muddy when it rains. Usually not very crowded. Parking available at Frank's Park, Spindler, or a few spaces where the trail meets Robert's Road."
"Great trail! It's a decent distance to walk to the end and turn around. Sometimes there's a Porta potty near the dog park to use if needed. The trail along the pond/marsh is usually puddle and muddy, so I would suggest going the long way around at the fork to avoid the wet spots. The trail is kept well trimmed and is never overgrown, which makes it great for a short bike ride. It is a gravel path so Rollerblade and skateboards would not work. It crosses over a creek with a nice bridge and even crosses a road with a button activated light to make drivers aware of your crossing."
