Reviews
"It was a decent park, but flatter than most. Not the best time to visit as there was a lot of construction and the spiders were plentiful."
"Trails are better than in the recent past. They are working on cleaning them up and making them more navigable"
"This might be a short trail, just under 1 mile but since the water level is lowered in the winter it allows you to explore on both sides of the peninsula. The trail is easy and well maintained. It offers great views of Deer Creek Lake. There aren't any amenities except where the trail starts at the cabins."
"After a tough day of hiking in mud we returned to our cabin tired and somewhat disappointed. After dinner my wife only wanted a shower and so I headed down the Adena Ridge Trail by myself. Surprisingly the trail was mostly grassy and mud free. It is an easy walk down the ridge to the beach. When I arrived I had the wide beach, on a peninsula sticking out into the lake, all to myself. The lake level was still somewhat low. There were many colorful stones to examine, birds flying overhead, and the peaceful sound of lapping water. I would expect this beach to get heavy use in the summer, but for me this was just a quiet sunset experience."
"We really enjoyed this short little trail and the views it offered at the overlook of the lake. This loop trail is pretty short but doesn't seem often traveled. If you turn right at the overlook you can walk the beach for quite a while with the trail/cliff overhead."
