Archway Campground 9388 Old National Road, New Paris, OH 45347

"Absolutely love this place, the owners are amazing and it's a very quiet laid-back campground. It is cash only but they are right off the highway and it has easy access to everything but you don't have a lot of road noise from the highway like you would expect. There's a nice creek that runs through the backside of the campground and they have a pond and playground, it's definitely the perfect place to stop while traveling. I have stayed here a couple times now and will be staying here every time I pass by. They do not have Wi-Fi and but I have great signal on both my cell phone which is on Verizon and my T-Mobile home internet box so that isn't an issue for me. Couldn't be happier with the place!!"

"I rely on these reviews and had some concerns after reading some negative ones. We found this campground to be conveniently located just off I-70, it was clean, neat, well mown, sites were reasonably sized with water and electric. It is older, we did not go in the restrooms. I do agree, it’s not a property for children, but it’s a wonderful place for an overnight. The property is currently for sale."

"Site is remote (albeit it 1/4 mile from I-70) quaint, quiet, relaxed, peaceful little place. Gracious host - Wanda. GREAT for an overnight, a SINGLE overnight. No waste line hookup. No Wi-Fi. Decent water and power. Public restrooms and shower house are utterly pathetic. In the 5 days I was there no one emptied the trash in either. I would not have set foot into any of their public showers; nasty, dirty, moldy, and the toilets not much better. Very convenient to the town (Richmond) that has everything you could want. The Archway is for sale. With $100K someone could really make that place worth having. Lastly, there are full time long term residents there. About a dozen I'd guess. Very nice folk. Would I stay there again . . . .absolutely not."

"We have been staying at Archway for the last 7 years and it has always been a great experience. The owners are amazing and always remember us. The sites are well kept and taken care of, even the bathrooms (which is rare)! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful out of the way spot that is conveniently located."
