"It is a perfect place for a short walk. The trails take you through woods and also open fields with beautiful flowers. The park is very well maintained. They have a handicap accessible trail that is 1 mile. It's definitely worth stopping by and spending time."
"Very well maintained trails that take you through woods, wetlands and grasslands to where Big Darby Creek begins. Decent size parking area. There aren't any restrooms or any other amenities."
"It was a beautiful place. We felt like We stepped into a place far away. The kids enjoyed the natural park and just being able to be wild and free. I enjoyed watching and playing with them, but most of all it was peaceful. Time slipped away from us and we can't wait to go back!"
"Update 7/20/21, 3 stars: ticks galore in the summertime. they were jumping on us from about the middle of the hike, so beware. And in the summer the brush is very overgrown so it’s difficult to see the headwaters. I like that they’re restoring everything to its natural state, but makes it less appealing as a hike/walk. this will be a late fall through early spring hike for me. Original post, 5 stars: Great little oasis of nature amidst farmland. They’ve restored the Big Darby headwaters (a stream) to its meandering original flow and planted 34k native species. Very few people, easy hike/walk. Was hard for us to find but probably user error with the map, definitely worth finding it."
"Beautiful, quiet, and secluded. We had the park entirely too ourselves during this visit. There are no restroom facilities here, so plan ahead. Lots of flowers were blooming during our early June visit."
