Bend View Metropark Trailhead

Bend View Metropark Trailhead is a park located at 10613 South River Road in Grand Rapids, Ohio, United States. The park offers stunning views of a 90-degree bend in the Maumee River, described as a "two million dollar view" by a former Metroparks director. Accessible by hiking from Farnsworth or Providence on the Towpath Trail, the park is known for offering one of the best views along the Maumee River. The historic Bend View shelter is a popular destination for visitors who make the trek.

The park is also home to the Towpath Trail, part of the Buckeye Trail, which follows the remains of the Miami and Erie Canal. The 8-mile trail connects Providence, Bend View, and Farnsworth Metroparks. Additionally, the new Otsego Road Enclosed Platforms, Liberty and Freedom, offer elevated scenic views of the Maumee River, perfect for camping or combining with a paddling excursion on the Maumee River Water Trail.
